“Sociology”

B. Research Question:
“What is effect of volunteer work on mental health and academic
performance?”

C. Justify research question:

1. Benefit to the society:

If a positive association is concluded from the study, it will be a source of
motivation and will inspire more citizens to take this prestigious act of
helping out others. Most importantly it will have its impact as a layout
for a better mental state and health of an individual in particular
coupled with it thriving forward the ultimate goal of well being of a
community can also be accomplished.

2. Addition to the existing literature:

There are some international studies but the fact that it has not yet been
taken to a broad aspect in Pakistan highlights the necessity of its
conductance.

3. Time and Budget:

No funds will be required as data will be collected thorough online
sources.
The procedure will be completed in a span of approximately 2 months.
