APPROVING THE MOA BETWEEN SSCT AND PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE, SDN
RE ENGLISH PROFICIENCY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM FOR PHILIPPINE NATIONAL
POLICE INVESTIGATORS FOR EXTENSION SERVICES SUBJECT TO FURTHER
NEGOTIATION ON THE HONORARIUM FOR THE FACULTY

WHEREAS, the Surigao State College of Technology as an Institution of Higher Education

Learning is a provider of community extension programs designed to empower the lives of
the members of its neighboring communities and institutions through addressing their needs
for knowledge and technology;

WHEREAS, these community extension programs can be successfully implemented if there

is support and cooperation from partner agencies;

WHEREAS, the Philippine National Police of the Province of Surigao Del Norte show
interest to avail the English Proficiency Enhancement Program among the PNP Investigators
from different municipal police stations of Surigao del Norte, a community extension project
of the College of Arts and Sciences of Surigao State College of Technology;

WHEREAS, on March 22, 2021, the Board Finance and Administrative Committee (BFAC)
posed no objection on the matter and favourably endorsed the same for Board approval;

WHEREAS, the Board carefully reviewed the provisions of the Memorandum of Agreement
(MOA);

WHEREAS, upon thorough discussion, the Board advised to negotiate corresponding

budget from the Service Partner as honorarium for the faculty;

WHEREAS, presented now before the Board the request approval for the proposed MOA
between SSCT and Philippine National Police, Surigao del Norte re English Proficiency
Enhancement Program for Philippine National Police Investigators for extension services;

NOW WHEREFORE:

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT THE SSCT-BOARD OF TRUSTEES AS MOVED

AND SECONDED APPROVES THE MOA BETWEEN SSCT AND PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE,
SDN RE ENGLISH PROFICIENCY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM FOR PHILIPPINE NATIONAL
POLICE INVESTIGATORS FOR EXTENSION SERVICES SUBJECT TO FURTHER NEGOTIATION
ON THE HONORARIUM FOR THE FACULTY
