In the movie Aladdin the main character Aladdin meets princess

jasmine. While visiting her he stumbles upon a magic oil lamp that
unleashes a genie. Then Aladdin is granted 3 wishes. His first wish was
for him to become a prince. The second was for the Genie to save life
and his last wish was the Genie’s freedom. The second wish does not
count as one as he did not wish exactly. In the end Aladdin destroys
Jafar’s magic staff and ends his spell over the Sultan. Jafar gets
imprisoned and the Sultan allows Aladdin to marry Jasmine. Aladdin
decides to save his final wish with the risk of losing Jasmine if the truth
unfolds and the Genie feels betrayed.
The two stories have many differences. First, there are no casualties
upon wishing in Aladdin unlike Monkey’s Paw. Moreover, Aladdin has a
happy ending where Aladdin saves the kingdom and marries Jasmine
whereas the Monkey’s Paw had a sad ending with the family having lost
their son for two hundred pounds.
