VIII. Financial Plan:

A. Assumption:
1. Our business is partnership business.
2. 5 partners provide equal capital.
3. We calculate 3years income statement and balance sheet.
4. We assume number of customer (patient) that may be vary year to year.
5. We increase our service price in 3rd year when our service may be known to the customer.
6. We pay salary to the employee at 8000 taka.
7. We purchase 5 bike ambulances. Per bike ambulance cost is 110000 and its life time will be 15
years.
8. We make agreement for office room per month 10000 for 10 years with owners
B. Pro forma income statement:

Income statement is that financial statement of a company that shows the company’s revenue and
expenses during a particular period. It indicates how the company transform the revenue into the net
income or net profit. Our company Emergency Bike Ambulance Service Ltd also transfer its revenue
into net profit. Here profit indicates subtract expenses from revenue.

 Revenue:

As we provide services to patient so our main income source is revenue from billing patient, subsidies,
others revenue.4 types of service we provide

1. First aid service

2. Broken issue service
3. Emergency service

21 | P a g e

Calculate growth rate:

 In 2020 net loss is 38000 taka

 In 2021 net profit is 4000 taka
 In 2022 net profit is 11400

Growth rate = (Revenue year 2021 – Revenue year 2020) / Revenue year 2020

= {4000 – (- 38000)} / (- 38000) *100

= - 110.53

Growth rate = {23800 – (-38000)} / (-38000) * 100

= -162.63

Growth rate from 2020 to 2022 is = {- 110.53 – (-162.63)}

= 52.10%

C. Cash flow projection:

Cash flow is an account that shows how much cash we earn and how much cash use for business
operation. Cash receive and cash paid happened in three ways-

1. Operational cash flow:

2. Financial cash flow:
3. Investment cash flow

D. Pro forma balance sheet:

Balance sheet is a financial statement that shows an organization’s total assets and total liability and
owner equity. Here total assets equals to total liability and owner equity.

 Assets: An asset is a resource that have economic value and that will provide future benefit. Assets
are two types one is fixed asset and another is current assets. Current assets are cash, bank balance,
account receivable etc. Fixed assets are building, equipment, plant, property that allow with
applicable depreciation.

 Liabilities and equity: This account represent that organization is liable for something. Such as
account payable, line of credit, bank loan etc. And owners’ equity is that part which is provided by

E. Break-even analysis:

It indicates a point where total income is equals to total cost. At the break-even point there is no profit and
no loss.

Here,

BEP= Break-even point

S= Sales

26 | P a g e
VC= Variable cost

FC= Fixed cost

CM= Contribution margin

Break-even point = Fixed cost / contribution margin ratio

Contribution margin ratio = (Total sales – Variable cost)/ sales * 100

For 2020:

BEP = 700000 / {(888000 – 140000)/888000}*100

= 831057

For 2021: BEP= 700000/ {(930000- 140000)/ 930000}*100

=824111

For 2022: BEP= 700000/ {(979800- 170000)/ 979800}*100

= 846945

According this calculation, we can conclude that we cannot receive the break-even point.

F. Source and application of fund:

Source:

We collect our capital in two ways

 Owners’ equity: 5 partners provide equal amount of capital. Per person 100000 tk. So total owners’
equity is 500000 tk.
 Bank loan: We collect 500000 taka loan with 9% interest from Sonali Bank.
Application:

1. Purchase 5 Bike Ambulance and per ambulance cost is 110000 so total costs is 550000 tk.
2. Purchase EBA apps at 40000tk that helps us to connect with our customer.
3. And others amount will use when don’t pay operating cost such as in 2020.

IX. Conclusion:
According to the business plan, it could be concluded that emergency bike ambulances are effective
rescue vehicles to reduce response time for emergency service missions in crowded cities with heavy
traffic, especially round the clock at peak traffic hours. This could be an advantage in terms of reducing
costs imposed on emergency centers, ambulances readiness to go for more necessary missions, and
preventing crowded emergency department in hospitals; however, in term of patients refusing hospital
transport, nothing has been reported yet, and its causes and outcomes should be investigated further in the
future studies. It should be highlighted that the advantages of bike ambulances are not only restricted to
reducing response time and costs but also can manage events better before the arrival of ambulances.
Regarding the large number of refusals for hospital transport, it is recommended that bike ambulances
should be enhanced both qualitatively and quantitatively. It is also suggested that citizen should learn how
to perform first-aid procedures and distinguish necessary situations requiring ambulance requests. It is
also suggested that ambulances should be used more often for traffic accidents and bike ambulances for
other cases, including weakness.
