Guidelines in the conduct of Feasibility Study/Thesis

During the Orientation Stage

1. The teacher assigned to teach the feasibility/thesis shall have to give orientation on how to
bring out the best in the study. During this stage the teacher must explain to the students the format
to be followed chapter by chapter.

2. The study shall be based on Institutional/Departmental Research Agenda

3. Seminar workshop to be conducted by the department right after the title defense for
(Education/Computer Science).

During the Writing Stage

1. A student must be officially enrolled before he/she can proceed to taking feasibility/research
subject.

2. The student is given an option to conduct his/her study individually (EDUC students) or to
form a group with a minimum number of 2 and a maximum no of 5(Computer Science/Business
Administration) so as to realize the forms of business organization or software development.

3. While the students are in their particular means of accomplishing the details they shall have to
follow the format provided by the institution.

4. Initial writing commences while the students are in the third year. Students are required to
submit chapters 1-3 before he/she can proceed to chapters 4-6. The deadline for submission shall be
determined by the Department Chairperson.

5. The assigned professor/thesis adviser will also at the same time write with the student
researchers.

During the Defense Stage

1. A student will have to pay the amount of One Thousand Pesos (1.000.00) prior to the final
defense, which will then be used as payment for the following. ( Subject to change )

Adviser - 300.00/student
Chairman - 200.00/student
Panelists - 150.00/student for each of the two panelists= 300
Critic - 100.00/student
Statistician - 100.00/student
School share - 100.00/student for electricity and other equipments that might be used during
the defense
2. The schedule for the defense for BSBA is set one (1) month before the actual date of the
college graduation while for BSED, BEED, ABREED, BSCS schedule is set one (1) month before the
final examination of the first semester.

3. It is the responsibility of the Department Chairperson to determine the panelists who will sit
down and critique the defense.

4. This guidelines shall serve as implementing rules of the next generation of researchers to
come and for other guidelines that maybe determined by the research core group in order to improve
the strategies in writing.
