 1. FieldGenius upgrading procedure with “EXE file”
Before any operation save your license key (if already installed).

Connect the instrument to the computer via "USB/micro USB" cable and wait for the connection. You need to have
ActiveSync installed into your computer to join the connection.

Delete the folder "FieldGenius" into the instrument that is under "Storage Card".

Run the exe.file for FieldGenius on PC and follow the instructions on screen.
You have to install the FieldGenius on the “storage card” (so select the right folder memory on instrument screen) and
rename it as “FieldGenius” like destination folder.

(if some message appears on screen during update pls select “OK” or “YES”)

Power off the instrument and restart.

Run the program and the first time you have to key in the password.

2. FieldGenius upgrading procedure with “CAB file”

Before any operation save your license key.

Connect the instrument to the computer via "USB/micro USB" cable and wait for the connection. You need to have
ActiveSync installed into your computer to join the connection.

Delete the folder "FieldGenius" into the instrument that is under "Storage Card".

Copy the “.cab” file with your language into “Storage Card” of the instrument.

Now by using instrument keyboard, under "My Device" + "Storage Card" run the “.cab” file. Rename as “FieldGenius” like
destination folder. You will see a message “There is not enough space in the selected directory. Choose another directory”.
Select “NO” and installation will continue.

If during the installation the Stone XOB.exe file and other files failed to copying. Choosing “YES” which usually on the
second time will be copied successfully.

Delete the “.cab” file into “Storage Card” of the instrument.

Run the program and the first time you have to key in the password.

 3. Antas upgrading procedure “EXE file”
Before any operation save your license key (if already installed).

Connect the instrument to the computer via "USB/micro USB" cable and wait for the connection. You need to have
ActiveSync or Window mobile device center installed into your computer to join the connection.

Delete the folder "Antas" into the instrument that is under "Storage Card".

Run the exe.file for Antas on PC and follow the instructions on screen.

You have to install the Antas on the “storage card” (so select this folder memory on instrument screen) and select “yes to
all”.

Wait the end of the installation procedure.

Power off the instrument and restart.

Run the program and the first time you have to key in the password.

 4. SurvCE upgrading procedure “EXE file”
Before any operation save your license key (if already installed).

Connect the instrument to the computer via "USB/micro USB" cable and wait for the connection. You need to have
ActiveSync (or windows mobile device center) installed into your computer to join the connection.

Delete the folder "SurvCe" into the instrument that is under "Storage Card".

Run the exe.file for SurvCe on PC and follow the instructions on screen.
You have to install the SurvCe on the “storage card” (so select the right folder memory on instrument screen (follow the
same steps for language installation)

Power off the instrument and restart.

Run the program and the first time you have to key in the password.
