Adele Laurie Blue Adkins (born 5 May 1988), better known simply as Adele, is an

English singer-songwriter.

"The voice of thousands of people love" Adele, from the bartender to the pinnacle
of music.

Adele has an amazing voice & an even more compelling presence, which is why it
amazes me at the feedback she's gotten after giving birth to her 1st child. Ever
since the announcement of her newborn son on twitter, she's been receiving non-
stop scrutiny, insensitive feedback & jokes about her son's weight/appearance.
They've ranged from:

---> I ate so much this weekend that now I'm going as Adele for Halloween.

---> Sorry I'm not Adele. I don't wish the best for you nor do I want to find
someone like you. I do however want to set fire to all your stuff

and it didn't stop there!!...even celebrities like Joan Rivers jumped on the band
wagon tweeting:

---> @Joan_Rivers Congratulations to Adele on the birth of her 68 pound 8 ounces

bouncing baby boy

.....others tweets involved people saying Adele finally gave birth after being
pregnant for 2+ years, that they wanted to kill Adele and her newborn .....and.....
that they hoped she would suffer from postpartum depression so that her next
album would be better.

So far there hasn't been a statement released from Adele in response to these nasty
comments, but I'm pretty sure she has more important thing on her mind!

Bullying effects anyone/everyone in the same way , celebrity or not, but how you
respond to it makes all the difference. People will say and do things for attention
but ultimately "the bulliers" are the ones that come out looking weak when it's all
said and done. At the end of the day Adele is still BOMB dot COM when it comes
to making music and I'm throughly excited for the new edition/inspiration in her
life!
Shake them haters off, keep it moving & keep making hits Adele!!! And remember
who the millionare is at the end of the day!!

Often lauded as one of the most remarkable voices of her generation, British singer
Adele was long targeted by both the media and online bullies over the subject of
her weight. Her stance was generally not to respond to these nasty attacks at all —
after all, her success speaks for itself, and she needn’t defend her body against
unwanted comments.

Though her legion of fans were quick to put down the detractors, the level and
volume of cruelty was no doubt shocking and hurtful. Rather than launch a
counterattack, Adele maturely chose to continue focusing on family and the
ongoing success of her musical career.
