By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:-
LEARNING OBJECTIVE(S) Practice reading and listening skills and review the vocabulary at least 5 words correctly and 2 simple sentences with
guidance .

3. Tell pupils to look carefully at the pictures and the sentences .

10. In pairs , pupils draw four pictures using the SB as a model.
11. They colour the pictures and then write four sentences , one about each picture.Some are true and some are
false.
12. Pairs swap pictures with another pair and tick or cross the sentences.

By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:-

Pre-lesson
1. Write the toys in scrambled letters order on the board.
2. Pupils work in pairs and write each word correctly .
Lesson delivery
3. Demonstrate the game for pupils by playing it with one or two pupils at the front.
4. Pupils take turns to roll the dice and they say and spell the word in the square they land on. If they can’t say

5. Pupils play the game in groups of four.
6. Monitor and help as and when necessary .
7. If time , make new groups for pupils to play game again .

8. Ask the pupils what their favourite song , chant or game is from the unit.
9. Do the song , chant or game again with the class .

Pre-lesson
1. Body shapes. Tell pupils a shape name and they have to try to make that shape with their body/arms/with a
partner.
2. Teach ‘diamond’ during this stage.
Lesson delivery
3. Give the pupils two or three papers. Ask them to draw a shape on each paper.
4. Ask them to write the name of the shape under the picture.
LEARNING OUTLINES
5. Tell them they are going to listen to a song. Sing the song.
6. Ask them to listen to the song again and to hold up their shapes when they hear them.
7. Ask them to listen to the song again and tell you how many shapes they hear.
8. Encourage the pupils to sing the song with you.

9. Ask pupils to tell each other what their favourite shape is, then report to the class
and/or to tell you what they have in their home of different shapes.
