inisiatif SWM bersama Kerajaan Johor
• Tapak ini merupakan Pusat Pelupusan
Sanitari Sisa Pepejal Tahap 4

• Bermula operasi pada January 2004
• Menerima sisa pepejal daripada
kawasan pentadbiran:

b) Majlis Bandaraya Iskandar Puteri
(MBIP)
c) Majlis Perbandaran Kulai (MPKu)
• Purata Berat Sampah Harian

• Bertujuan untuk memindahkan sisa pepejal daripada lori-lori kompaktor ke

sel sanitari

• Stesen Pemindah melibatkan 3 Proses Utama: (1)Pelepasan sisa,

(2)Penolakan Sisa ke Tong RORO, dan (3)Penghantaran Sisa ke Sel sanitari

• Terdapat juga aktiviti pengumpulan barang kitar semula bersebelahan

dengan kawasan Operasi Pemindahan Sisa Pepejal

• Kapasiti Muatan : 500-700 Tan sehari

• Jentera yang Digunakan : Showel, Excavator, Lori RORO

Separation-At-Source (SAS)

• The Government has made it mandatory to separate solid waste at source

beginning 1 SEPTEMBER 2015.
• This ruling will be implemented in stages.
• This implementation is pursuant to regulations under Solid Waste and Public
Cleansing Management Act 2007 (Act 672).
• Enforced in the following states and Federal Territories: Kuala Lumpur,
Putrajaya, Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Kedah and Perlis.

KITARecycle

• In 2018, SWM Environment launched its own

incentive-based programme for recycling
across the three southern states in Malaysia.
• KITARecycle, the programme encourages the
public to recycle by rewarding them with
Recycling Points (RP).
• More than 20 types of recyclable items
which include paper, aluminum cans, plastics
and e-waste.
• The collected RP could be redeemed through
cash transfer online banking.

ISSUES ON SEPARATION AT SOURCE
• The authorities shall impose a full implementation of 673 Act (recycling) in order to
increase public participation in separating at source activities

• KITARecycle will be an option for publics to recycle more and receive cash as a reward

• Education as a crucial factor to inculcate the children for changing their mindset.
Everyone must play their part for the learning process

• Housewives are potential target group that act as an important agent in separation at
source implementation
