The Department of Education issued the Memorandum Number 0155 s.

2020 which seeks to implement the Homeroom Guidance (HG) during crisis
situation for school year 2020 – 2021. The Schools Division Office of Biñan City
complied with this memorandum by distributing Homeroom Guidance
Modules to the learners in the different schools – including the Mamplasan
National High School with a total of 850 enrolled learners.

Since we are in a Modular Distance Learning (MDL) modality, the school

head along with her subordinates came up with a schedule that would give
the teacher and a learners to convene for the HG subject. On Mondays
through Thursdays, the learners will answer their modules and have a class on
their academic subjects (Filipino, English, Math, Science, AP, ESP, TLE, and
MAPEH). On Fridays, the teachers convene with the learners to hold classes on
Homeroom Guidance.

The 41 learners of 8-Cuprum were among the ones who have gotten to
experience this subject. From October to December of 2020, ever since the
teacher and the learners started holding Homeroom Guidance classes, the
teacher observed that the learners exhibited a healthier, more wholesome
learning experience in the distance learning set-up. The weekly classes helped
the learners foster a positive attitude, good behavior, and exceptional moral
values towards their teacher.

 For the learners’ portfolio, the teacher asked the students to provide
expanding envelopes. The boys had to provide blue envelope and the girls
were asked to provide green envelopes.
The adviser of 8-Cuprum had a talk with their subject teachers to ask for the
learning behavior of their students.
