Meet your 5th Grade teacher!

Who am I?
My name is Mrs. Arizpe. I am a first year teacher and I cannot
wait to meet all of you all! I am from Laredo, TX but went to
school at Texas Tech University. Wreck em’! I have two dogs,
two kids, and a wonderful husband!
Classroom Procedures
In this classroom, we will all show each other respect. I expect
for everyone to be nice to each other and always provide their
undivided attention when I am delivering a lesson. If you all are
great with me, I will be great with you! Always have a positive
mindset when coming into my class.
Grades
All students will be graded the same. Tests will account for 25%
of the class, quizzes 10%, Assignments 25%, homework 25%,
and 15% projects. Any late work will have point deductions. 10
points for every day it is late. Projects will not be accepted to be
late unless otherwise discussed.
Parents:
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me via dojo. I will actively
update the children’s grades along with any concerns we might
have to either create a meeting or just simply ask a question. I
am here to help you all and the students.
