3. Connectivity The nearest airport to Panisagar is the MBB international
(Road/Railway/Airport): airport situated at state capital can be reached from Panisagar
within 5 hours by road. There is also a helipad for helicopter
at Ganganagar for quick journey to Agartala Capital.
Daily bus service from Agartala, Shillong, Guwahati and
vice versa passes through Panisagar Nagar Panchayat by NH-
8 (Assam-Agartala Road). The Nagar Panchayat is also
connected via Railways to other parts of the country. And one
Railway Station is situated under the area of Panisagar Nagar
Panchayat.

6. Average annual rainfall: The average annual rainfall range from 1,979.6 to 2,745.9 mm
7. Temperature: During winter, temperatures range from 13 to 27oC (55 to 81oF),
while in the summer they fall between 24 and 36oC.

(Highest and lowest structural and topographic ‘highs’ and ‘depressions’ flats and
elevation in meter): slopes, sculptured on the topographic surface in a liner and areal
