Ethiopia was just beginning to see the first private owned brewery when kombolchaBrewery
,the northern Ethiopia first brewery, was established in 1991 e.c .The factory is owned by BGI-
Ethiopia an international Brewery company that operate in many companies .The company
aimed to produce quality products satisfy the need of customer

kombolcha Brewery is situated in northern Ethiopia komobolcha town and occupies an area 0f
47,270 sq meters of land .The factory produces st.George, Castel, Draft beers and drought beers
from the same three brand. panache is newly launched light beer.

The quality of the raw materials are brewing process, the filtration, the bottling, the
implementation of the modern technology of brewing process, follow up and control of quality
etc… Makes our beer special. There are 397 employees in the factory
