What is MaCS?

The MaCS program offers an opportunity for enrichment in Mathematics, Science, and
Computer Science through participation in problem solving and active learning situations.

 MaCS offers incoming grade 9 students an opportunity to explore their special


interests in Math, Science, and Computers.

 Students may apply for the MaCS program at either grade 9 or grade 10, though the
majority of students enter the program in grade 9. Some positions may be available in
Grade 10.

Please note that enrolment in the MaCS program is limited. Should there be more qualified applicants than
available spaces, a process of selection will take place to choose applicants. TDSB is committed to creating an
