Subject : Prayer for providing street lights.

Dear Sir,

We, the undersigned, are the inhabitants of the Ward No. 51 under your city corporation, have the honor to
state that there is an urgent necessity of additional street lights in our locality. Though there are street lights
in some specific places but this are not serving the desired needs. As a result, the people of this suffering
much.

The absence of street lights in some of the main streets and areas is keeping those streets and areas not only
dark but also furious, which enabling the criminals and muggers to carry out their crimes during the night
hours . Both womans and childrens are specially afraid to go out on such dark streets after the sunset as they
feel extremely unsecured. Even though we informed our Ward Commissioner about the poor situation, in
spite of he cannot take any necessary step.

We, therefore, pray and hope that considering the gravity of the situation, you would be kind enough to take
necessary steps to provide street lights in the ward on a priority basis and lessen the sufferings of the people.
