Review and witness NDE procedure and NDE activities compliance to ASME
Sec V, API 650, ASME sec VIII and Project specifications.
Coordinate with the Client team in procedure review and site inspection activity.
Preparation of MRB (Material Record Book) index as per Specification and
preparation and review of MRB
Co-Ordinate QA/QC Inspectors to perform QA/QC inspection activities with
emphasis on fabrication.
Preparation and witness of Reinforcement pad Pneumatic test, Hydro test,
Vacuum box test, Pneumatic test, & DFT inspection, RT film interpretation, PMI,
MT, PT, UT, Hardness and PWHT etc.
Inspection of the bottom weld by using Vacuum Box test to ensure the soundness
of bottom weld.

Duties & Responsibility
Associated with inspection activities on Process piping and Static Equipment in the
complex to assure their mechanical system integrity and reliability.
Preparing and Issuing Field Inspection notes (FIN) and Inspection reports (IR) with
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for the Failures to judge and enhance the system
quality.

visually inspecting the exterior surfaces of tanks, pipes, valves and other
equipments for leaks and maintenance deficiencies.
Identifying cracks, areas of wear, Corrosion and thinning, poor maintenance and
operating practices, malfunctioning equipment and structural or foundation
weaknesses
Symptoms of settlement of the foundation
inspection and monitoring all Leak Detection systems, Cathodic Protection
monitoring equipment or other monitoring or warning systems which may be in
place at the facility; and inspect the condition and integrity of the Containment
System.

Equipment: PIPING, KOD, DEPRESSURIZED VESSEL.
Line check prior to hydro test, to verify the entire work in the test limits has been
completed as per isometric and project quality control procedures
/specifications /standards.
Review hydro test package to ensure that the NDT summary, weld summary, weld
map, support drawing, valve list, approved drawing duly marked the test limits, P
&Id marked with test boundaries, check list, and all the related documents are
attached in the test package as per the project requirements.
Monitor and ensures that all welding activities are carried out according to the
approved procedures and compliance to welding codes.
Package review and monitor the test package is in accordance with the approved
procedure.
Verify and inspects the material and fittings, gaskets flanges, as per specification
and bill of materials.

Project : Clean Fuels Project-32 Nos Chemical Injection Skid
Responsibilities:
Preparation of vendor documents like ITP, work procedures as per project
requirement
Reviewing of Drawing ,P&ID & Preparation of Weld Map/Log.
Preparing FAT( Factory Acceptance Test) prodedure for various types of chemical
Injection Skids
Inward inspection of raw materials like Piping/Tubing material, Plates, Instruments
etc. with standards , drawings and project specification.
Monitoring / Witnessing all the Welding, Fabrication & Erection related activities as
per client approved Inspection & Test Plans/Quality Control procedures.
Monitoring Welding related activities like preheat PWHT etc.
Conducting NDE like MPI,DPI,UT,RT,PMI as per ITP and project requirement
Reviewing of NDE reports , Interpretation of RT Films as per Design Code and
tracing of defects and taking corrective and preventive actions accordingly.
Conducting Hyro stastic ,pressure test and FAT( Factory Acceptance Test) for
various types of chemical Injection Skids.
Preparing Review of reports for Hyro stastic ,pressure test and FAT( Factory
Acceptance Test) as per approved procedure.
Preparation and Review of Final QC dossier for all carried out process in
accordance with ITP for handing over to the client and maintain proper filing
system with full traceability for retrieving the document.
Handled quality aspects of doing incoming Raw material inspection of major and
minor Barrel,reducer,endclosure.
Preparation of WPS, PQR, WPQ, ITP.
Stage wise inspection like Barrel fitup,weld visual, arrange NDE crew,RT film
interpretation etc..
Preparation Daily Report like welder performance,fitup inspection report,weld
visual reports.
Preparation and Review of Final QC dossier for all carried out process in
accordance with ITP for handing over to the client and maintain proper
filing system with full traceability for retrieving the document.

Chloride conductivity test
Responsible for continuous Ambient condition monitoring before and while paint

Performing Adhesion Test(Pull off Test ) after curing of final Coat.

Responsibilities:
Monitoring / Witnessing all the Welding, Fabrication & Erection related activities as
per client approved Inspection & Test Plans/Quality Control procedures.
Inspection of incoming materials and reviewing test certificate as per code.
Inspection of piping materials identification as per isometric drawings.
Witnessing of activities like PQR, Welder’s qualification Tests, Mechanical testing
and preparation of PQR records and WQT certificates.
Stage wise inspection before, during and after fabrication.
Review of radiographic films, Witnessing of UT, MPI, DPI, Hardness, PWHT and
review of test reports.
Review of Daily Welding reports & Welding Pipe book.
Witnessing of Weld repair activities as per client approved WPS.
Paint pull of test witness, dolly test equipment check.
Responsible for stage wise painting / coating inspection.
Undertake QC painting / coating activities in the work place for daily basis.
Monitor weather condition for surface preparation and painting / coating
application.
Execute Painting / coating inspection work as per company / project inspection
test plan.
To check and monitor all painting / coating related works and ensure all final
products meet in accordance with company procedure, client requirement and
international codes.
Responsible for incoming coating / painting material inspection and has to ensure
whether these materials suits to meets the requirements of project specifications.
Prepare all necessary QA / QC painting / coating documents and handed over to
clients review.
Review of calibration status of IMTE items.
To undertake test qualifications for spray painters, brush painter’s hydro blasters &
abrasive blasters.
Co-ordinate with the paint manufacturer technical representative on daily basis.
