Acknowledgement
All praises are for Almighty Allah that has bestowed upon human being the crown of creation
and has endowed him with knowledge and wisdom. I am very thankful to Almighty Allah
who gave me the courage to complete this complex task and to my ever caring and loving
parents whose prayers helped me to reach this stage of my life.
I hereby express immense gratitude towards my supervisor, Sonjoy Maitra, for guiding me
throughout the internship period. His guidance and views were very much helpful to come
with this report at last. As a newcomer in banking, it was not an easy job to get acquainted
with the banking policies and regulations within this short span of time.
Besides, there are many people who supported me in formulation of this report and without
their support; I could never be able to complete this report successfully. In this respect, I am
very thankful to Branch Manager, Md Moyazzem Hossain, Manager of SIBL Bank
Sonargaon Branch for his cooperation and necessary support ,Operations Manager & in
charge Internship and the qualified staff members of Social Islami Bank Ltd. Finally I want to
express my special thanks to Shihabul Mohamin Bhuiyan(Senior Officer) and Mohd
MomenUllah (Officer) of SIBL, Sonargaon branch, under whom I have completed my three
months internship program. I am also grateful to all other employees, all of them help and
assisted me in participating and performing different official works, data collection and other
mental support while working in the bank.
Limited, who cooperated with me with their guidance at each step of my internship. They
have provided me a lot of important information and knowledge about the electronic banking
operations in a very short period of time. I am as well thankful to all of my teachers of my
university who helped me to reach my current position.
Last but not least, I specialy thanks to Mr. Sonjoy Maitra (Internship Supervisor) who
provided me with his valuable guidance and profitable knowledge whenever I need that.

Executive Summary
In this internship report prepared five chapter, First chapter , introduction, origin of the study,
Rationale of the study, objectives of the study, scope of the report, methodology of the study,
Limitation of the report. Second Chapter of this report introduces Social Islami Bank
Limited, Overview of SIBL explains its vision, mission, Overall Operational goals,
Objectives of SIBL , Journey with New Logo, SIBL Core Values, Functions of SIBL, Four
Functions of SIBL, Products & Services, Feature that can be given by SIBL Online Banking,
Corporate social responsibility (CSR),organizational structure.
Third chapter of the report Job description, Internship at SIBL and Description of my job at
SIBL sonargaon branch.Fourth chapter mainly includes E-Banking System of SIBL, In this
chapter broad discussion such as common Online Banking Services in Bangladesh, Internet
Banking products and services, Information Technology Division, SWIFT Service, Network
structure, The Message-passing Payment Process, Application, Online Banking in
Bangladesh, Growth of Online Banking in Bangladesh. Fifth chapter includes electronic
banking service in social islami bank limited. Such as Electronic Banking Products,
Automated Teller Machine (ATM), Debit Card, Credit Card, Check Truncation, Wire
Transfer, More Channels of E-Banking, Mobile Banking, SMS banking, Major Online
Banking Service Providers in Bangladesh. Six chapter mainly includes, Findings, finding to
SWOT analyze, the SIBL strengths and weaknesses, and external opportunities and threats.
And other many point discussion, and Finally Recommendations and conclusion.
Dear readers this report is prepared in very simple, easy and understandable way so that
common and ordinary readers who do not have electronic Banking knowledge can also take
