Psychology and I.

As you learn more about how development, how personality forms, and how factors like society and
culture impact behavior, you might understand many influences that have impacted life, Psychology
enables us to understand what we see, what we feel and what we are, that is why I have always been
interested in it.
Psychology tends to transform natural feelings into relatively simple thoughts. its beauty and efficiency
as a sociological branch. Nevertheless, only a few in my country are aware of its huge importance, which
results in the majority not pursuing their studies, regarding it as “useless” and ignoring its implications in
other fields. Getting a degree in psychology will increase my influence in this field, especially because I
am willing to share psychological awareness in my society, by creating events and platforms to give the
youth more insight on why they should consider spending the next years of their lives studying social
sciences.
Since I was a middle school student, I have been amazed by the developments humanity has acquired
across the years due to its understanding of the fundamentals of Psychology. But, the fact that my
country poorly contributed in that advancement hugely annoyed me, so upon finishing my studies in
Psychology, I am aiming to become a university professor at an Algerian university where I would do
research, and try to increase my region’s contribution to the researches made each year which, with the
help of other fellow professors, would occur on a national scale. This would, if applied for a long span of
time, benefit my country’s contribution to human knowledge.
The most suitable major for me is Psychology. Not only it is a passion and a way of life, but also a
choice that would benefit both my country and I in lots of ways.
