I WILL SELL TO:

We plan to sell this product which we named as “Mocha Rolls” to our fellow students, at Eastern
Visayas State University (EVSU),Tacloban City. Since this is a group business action plan, basically our
target customers are those whom we encounter at EVSU where we are currently studying. This will
enable us practically, to reach our goal with the fact that we devote most of our time in school. So while
studying at the same time we plan to gain profit with this worthwhile activity.

We are going to personally sell the product directly to our prospect customers. This would be
more convenient to us since, our target customers are those of the same ages with us. On this manner
we can better communicate with their demands and feedbacks can easily be taken fresh from their
mouth. We can also have their suggestions given unto us for further improvement of the product to
serve them on our best.

COMPETITORS:

While thinking on this business action plan, we did not overlook some important details for this
action. Since, we are talking business here; “competitors” will always be around the corner. We had
conducted our so called “Market Research” which is an essential part on this plan. And it helped us a lot
not only in identifying several information needed for our product. But also we were able to identify our
resolute competitors that operate inside the school campus for a long time.

According to the data on our research there are eight canteens located at the different part of
the school campus; (2) Engineering building, (1) In front of the SSG, (1) HRT building, (2) science building,
(1) GS building and (1) from the Auditorium building.

The said canteens have their own sweet-delicacy products that are popular to the students. But
here we are going to give the students and other customers a better option to choose from with a
product that is new to their taste and can give them satisfaction at a very affordable price.

I WILL PROMOTE MY PRODUCTS/SERVICES LIKE THIS;

PROMOTION is one of the crucial stages in a business plan. Since, promotion is where customers
get information about a certain product. This would the best chance for us to identify and attract
customers as well as to introduce the product.
To promote our product we plan to give special offers to our valued customers. For every 5
pieces purchase of the product they will have 1 free mocha rolls making it a half dozen (6 pieces) and if
they buy 1 dozen (12 pieces) they’ll get a 10% price discount on every purchase of the said offer. Hence,
giving them options to which offer suits their budget.

Since, we only have five members on this business plan to start up on this plan we will be
working with each other’s contributed efforts. And hopefully may these contributed efforts give way to
the success of our proposed action plan.

The mocha rolls is a sweet delicacy product, we intend to make the product sweet and
delicate since, the students at EVSU are at the same ages with us- TEENAGERS. And teenager’s taste
buds greatly appreciate sweet foods that would satisfy their appetite this opens an opportunity for our
business because there is a greater chance for the students to patronize our product. Mocha rolls can be
eaten at any time of the day like a snack especially during vacant hours and during bonding sessions
with the whole barkada. It is also hassle-free to eat you won’t need any utensils you can eat it on your
most comfortable way. It is healthy and nutritious since it has milk, cheese, raisins and other
ingredients. Our customers may choose from variety of flavours depending upon their preferences. We
offer it on a very affordable price; we also offer discounts and special offers so as to fit with our
customer’s budget because as estimated our customers would most likely be students, and we all know
that a student doesn’t own their incomes yet.

PLAN OF ACTION TO HARNESS OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES:

We plan to conduct activities especially in the promotion of our product so as to attract


customers and have them patronize it. If possible we want to offer our best service so as to give and to
meet the demands of our customers.

THE BUSINESS RISK AND CHALLENGES:

In a business there lies problems; a businessman will always meet difficulties along his way. The
ability to take risk is a crux for any businessman. Before we took actions on this plan, we had our mind
set already for possible risk and challenges we might encounter. Of course we are all aware that we all
want to have the best product that would meet our budget, likes and standards. This is one of the
reasons why customers seek products from one store to those of another and eventually shift loyalty.
This is one of the major risk and challenge for us to maintain/keep our customers with us. Because
customer differs on their perspective, they always change their mind especially when they are convinced
by other parties. It is indeed a great challenge for us to keep our customers satisfied with our given
service, It is a challenge for us to earn and keep their trust, it is a challenge for us to manufacture our
product on a lesser cost but not sacrificing its quality and it is a big risk for us to make new product lines
to give our customers.

Based on our business hypothesis on possible risk and challenges our plan of action to overcome
those underlying obstacles is to propose alternatives to whatever problems we may see along with the
succession of our product.
