    6 Coloured Light

    * The coloured filters can allow some colours to be transmitted and some other
    colour to be observed by them.

    Example:
    Red filter mainly allows red light to pass through it.
    Blue filter mainly allows Blue light to pass through it.
    The green filter mainly allows green light to pass through it.

    *Red, Green and Blue are called the primary colour for light. We can get the white
    light by adding all the main three colours.

    Because they reflect the same colour as they have their own.

    Example: We see the postbox looks red because red light is reflected by its paint.
    All other colours contained in white light
    are absorbed by the red paint
