JULIET´S LIFE

My name is Juliet. I´m twenty years old and I am English.

I live in London with my mother, my grandmother, my sister, and my dog: Brenda.
Brenda is two years old, she is beautiful, quiet and cuddly, and she is my best (=mejor)
friend!

Our house is big. It has five bedrooms and there is enough space (= espacio
bastante) for the family. Near my house there is a park, a music shop and a supermarket.

I am cheerful and generous. I love flamenco music because my mother is Spanish.

I play the piano and the guitar. I also like dancing “sevillanas”. I like it because I always go
to Spain in the summer. I have Spanish friends. They are talkative and active.
I go to piano lessons on Mondays and Fridays. And I go to guitar lessons on Tuesdays and
Thursdays.

My sister is seventeen. She is kind and confident. Her name´s Aurora and she likes
sports and going to the cinema with friends. There is a cinema near my house and she goes
to watch films every Saturday. She also likes reading. She is reading a book on the history of
flamenco right now. We all love flamenco in the family.

My mother´s name is Ana. She´s from Madrid. She is forty-eight years old and she
works as a Spanish teacher in London.

From Mondays to Fridays, I get up at 7:00 a.m. and then I have a shower. I brush my
teeth and I have breakfast. I always have a black cofee for breakfast. I start university at
8:30. I often go to the campus by bus.

At weekends, we never get up early. We always have Spanish omelette for lunch on
Saturdays, and a delicious paella on Sundays.

Right now, I am cooking for my mum, for my sister, and for my grandmother.
I am making pasta for dinner. My mother is preparing an exam for the students and my sister
is reading right now.

Next Chistmas, I am going to Andalucía to visit my father, who lives in (=que vive
en) Granada.
