through qualitative and quantitative methods. He's a regular
speaker at HR tech events and conferences around the world.
Erik also teaches at Utrecht University, The Netherlands and as

Design Thinking in HR

HR has always been about people and in the digital era, this is more important
than ever. Employee experience (EX) is crucial for the success of any company. As
such, HR tools that help us understand more about individual employees and
extrapolate this information to draw actionable conclusions that help us attract,
retain and develop our talent give us a much needed competitive advantage. In
this course, you will learn to use the design thinking process, to design employee-
centered HR solutions, tools, and processes that improve the EX.

CAPSTONE PROJECT

DIGITAL HR CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

With the capstone project, you will be applying your learnings to create
a series of practical deliverables. This project is evaluated by your
instructors and marked as pass or fail. In any case, feedback will be
provided to improve the quality of your deliverables

How it works

The capstone project will be available 10 weeks after starting the


course. To obtain your certification, the capstone project needs to be
completed within 6 months of starting the program.

FAQ

When can I enroll

Enrollment for this program opens once every quarter for 10 days. On
our website you will find the exact dates for the upcoming enrollment
period.

Is there a fixed schedule?

No. This program is online and self-paced. Each week, one module
will be unlocked (total of 10 modules). Once a module is unlocked
it will remain available to you until the end of your access period.
On average, students take 3 hours to complete a module and 4
hours to complete the capstone project.

There’s just one deadline: to become certified, you will need to


complete the capstone project within 6 months.

In total, you will need to invest 34 hours to finish the program


within 6 months. But it’s up to you, when you learn and how much
time you spend each week or month.


How long do I have access to the program?

In total, you will have 12 months of access to the student


portal, all lessons, and learning materials.

Please note that you will have to complete the capstone


project within 6 months.

What is the capstone project about?

The capstone project marks the end of this certificate program. With the
capstone project, you will be creating a portfolio that includes:

• Strategic plan for digital HR

• Stakeholder map

• Digital agenda

• Employee journey map

The capstone project will be evaluated by your instructors and marked as


pass or fail. In any case, feedback will be provided to improve the quality of
your deliverables. You can submit the capstone project twice for
evaluation.

Are there any prerequisites?

No. We do recommend however that students have at


least 3 years of (HR) work-related experience.

Can I change the starting date?

No. But no worries if you don’t have the time to get started right away.
This program is self-paced so you can just start whenever you’re
ready.

You will have 6 months to complete your capstone project and a total
of 12 months access to the lessons and course materials.
