INTRODUCTION TO EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION

Employee satisfaction is the terminology used to describe whether employees


are happy and contented and fulfilling their desires and needs at work.

Many measures purport that employee satisfaction is a factor in employee


motivation, employee goal achievement, and positive employee morale in
the workplace.

Employee satisfaction, while generally a positive in your organization, can


also be a downer if mediocre employees stay because they are satisfied with
your work environment.

Employee satisfaction is the individual employee‟s general attitude towards the job.
It is also an employee‟s cognitive and affective evaluation of his or her job.

OBJECTIVE

The research has been carried on the employees who are engaged in the direct sales
of the landline connections of AIRTEL.
The objective of the research is to find out the employee satisfaction level.Various
things have to be taken into consideration to maintain the employee satisfaction
 Listing the requirements of the employees based upon specific plans of the
company.

 Planning the necessary method so that the employees are satisfied.

 Provide the salary on time.

 Make the employees aware about time to time procedures & plans.

 Provide them the medi claim facilities.

 Provide the promotions timely to the employees to motivate them.

They should get the reimbursement on time.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
I have done the research to find out the employee satisfaction level.
SAMPLING PLAN:-
Sampling Unit: - It consists of employees of Bharti Airtel

Sampling Technique:-Random sampling has been used.

Sample Size: - The sample size is 50.


PRIMARY WORK- To prepare questionnaire, conduct interview and to conduct
the survey to measure the employee satisfaction level

RESEARCH DESIGN:-

EXPLORATORY DESIGN:-

Exploratory research is to explore or search through a problem or situation


to provide insights and understanding. Exploratory research could be used
for following purposes:

 A review of organization to identify the relevant factors that influence


employees.
 Conduct Interviews with the employees to determine the satisfaction
level of them.
 A study of facilities provided by the company to employees to
better work performance.

 To determine the factors that employees feel satisfied in


selecting the bharti airtel.

METHOD OF DATA COLLECTION –


Primary Data-
The method of data collection is through questionnaire and interviews.
The questionnaire consists of open ended and close ended questions
Secondary Data- The method of data collection through books, website of
company, internet etc.
FINDINGS

The findings of the project is that it is carried on a very small sample size.
The sample size is 50 and it only covers the employees related to direct
sales.

The research is carried on the employees of that company only so it may not give a
clear indication of all the employees‟ views from the other branches of that company.

The data collected through the questionnaire may not give the true picture of
the employee satisfaction in other areas.

Conclusion

The salary is not provided on time. This happens because the Reporting Manager
is not sending the attendance sheet on time and hence it takes time.

Employees are facing problems in getting the reimbursement it means that they
are not aware of the procedure

The employees don‟t, know much about other benefits provided by the
organization.
Like they are not fully aware about the medi claim policy provided by the
company.

Here the company should discard the outgoing facilities on the cell the moment
amount reaches 1200. This will make them assured that the money in case
deducted is not more than what they want.
