THIS CAUSE comes before the Court upon Defendant's Amended Emergency
Motion for Access to Crime Scene (D-148), the State's Response to the Motion (SF-
120), Defendant's Reply to the State's Response and Exhibit (D-150), and the State's
Response to Defendant's Request (SF-121). Having considered all such motions and
orders regarding this matter, applicable law, and being otherwise fully advised in the
This Court finds that the defense has demonstrated sufficient cause for the
access requested as part of the preparation of its case and defense. The dates and
times requested for access for the purpose of documenting the crime scene as it now
As such, the defense shall be granted access on: 6/13 for two hours, 6/15 for
nine hours, and 6/16 for nine hours. The parties shall coordinate with each other to
ensure that proper security and safeguards are in place such that the integrity of the
crime scene is maintained.
