Terrible but tasty!

When my sister was pregnant, her favourite snack was a banana with
tomato sauce! But it isn’t only pregnant woman – a lot of people eat
strange food. A website on odd food had these examples: blue cheese
and chocolate, a banana and mayonnaise sandwich, and fries and
chocolate ice cream!

So why do adults eat these strange things? Some people think that sweet
and salty things go well together. That’s true for my husband because his
perfect snack is cheese with honey. And one day I saw a really horrible
example. A man puts fries in his soda one by one and then ate them!
Awful.

So what about me? I don’t eat a lot of sweet food, so my example is

savoury. When I’m alone on the weekend, my favourite lunch is a potato
chip sandwich. But it needs two pieces of white bread (not healthy brown
bread) with butter and a lot of potato chip in the middle. I think it’s
delicious, but my husband hates it, he says there’s too much salt in it.
He’s right- it isn’t very healthy, but I don’t have my strange sandwich very
often. And you? What’s your example of terrible but tasty food?
