DISCUSSION

Based on the result of leveling survey, the data shown the data is taken
from the bottom of the hill to the top. The result show that only at the start of the
data has fall point but the subsequence data only has rise data mean that the survey
is taken from the bottom to the top.

The data taken from this experiment is needed to produce reduced level
which is can be find using two different method, rise and fall method and high
collimation method. In this experiment we use rise and fall method, by using rise
and fall method we data of BS, IS, FS and Bm. This data absent Bm data so they
reduced level calculation is unable to be carried on.

This experiment is conducted by human and by using many instrument.

This lead to error to accumulate such as instrumental error, human error and
natural error, to prevent or lessen the error on this survey the conductor of the
experiment uses the instrument properly as stated in the instruction.

High accuracy data is preferable in any experiment. To increase the

accuracy of the data taken, the data need to be taken multiple time to reduce the
margin of error. The bubble level is crucial to the experiment to maintain leveling
staff parallel to the auto level.
CONCLUSION

As conclusion, in this experiment we able to handle instrument for

surveying properly and able use the instrument by following the lab manual and
lecturer instruction to obtain high accuracy data. Based on the result, we able to
deduce that the elevation of the land and frequent rise data shown that the
experiment carried from bottom to the top of a hill. Besides that, we able to record
the BS, FS and IS which is crucial in the calculation to find reduced level.
