How to install The Grand 3

Preparing download and installation

• Download and install the Steinberg Download Assistant.
• Open the Steinberg Download Assistant and click on the requested product.
• A list of all available components of the chosen product appears.
• You can choose to download and install the application The Grand 3 and the Content
The Grand 3 separately.

First step: Installing the application The Grand 3

• Once the download has been completed (green progress bar), click 'Open' in the The
Grand 3 line listed by the Steinberg Download Assistant. This starts the installation of
the application.

Second step: Installing the content for The Grand 3

• Once the download has been completed (green progress bar), click 'Open' in the
Content The Grand 3 line listed by the Steinberg Download Assistant.
• The Steinberg Library Manager, a tool installed along with your application, opens and
suggests registering the contained sound files ('Register VST Sounds').
• Click 'OK' to proceed and wait for the registration to finish. Please be patient. It can
take some time until all files have been registered completely.
• As soon as the Steinberg Library Manager has completed the registration, a window
opens reporting 'VST Sounds registered successfully’. Click 'OK' to confirm.
Please note: The sound content is provided to you as a VST sound file. VST sound files can
also easily be installed and registered with a double click. It always registers all VST sounds

Update older The Grand 3 versions (< version 3.2.):

• If you have already installed an older The Grand 3 you do not need to download
Content The Grand 3 again.
• Download and open the The Grand 3 – 3.2.0 (or higher)

Download und Installation vorbereiten

• Laden Sie den Steinberg Download Assistant herunter und installieren Sie ihn.
• Öffnen Sie den Steinberg Download Assistant und klicken Sie auf das gewünschte
Produkt
• Eine Liste der einzelnen Produktbestandteile wird angezeigt.
• Jetzt können Sie zum einen die Software The Grand 3 und zum anderen die
Soundinhalte Content The Grand 3 herunterladen.

Erster Schritt: Installieren Sie die Software The Grand 3

• Sobald der Download von The Grand 3 abgeschlossen wurde (grüner
Fortschrittsbalken), können Sie die Installation der Software starten, indem Sie in der
Zeile neben The Grand 3 auf "Open" klicken.

Zweiter Schritt: Installieren Sie den Soundinhalt von The Grand 3

• Sobald der zweite Download und die Programm-Installation abgeschlossen wurde
(grüner Fortschrittsbalken), klicken Sie in der Zeile neben Content The Grand 3 auf
"Open".
• Daraufhin öffnet sich der Steinberg Library Manager, ein Tool, das zusammen mit der
Software The Grand 3 installiert wird. In einem Pop-up-Fenster bietet es die
Registrierung der Sound-Dateien an ('Register VST Sounds').
• Klicken Sie auf "OK", um fortzufahren und warten Sie auf den Abschluss der
Registrierung. Bitte haben Sie etwas Geduld! Es kann eine Weile dauern, bis alle
Dateien registriert wurden.
• Die erfolgreiche Registrierung meldet der Steinberg Library Manager über ein
weiteres Pop-up-Fenster ('VST Sounds registered successfully.'). Klicken Sie zur
Bestätigung auf "OK".
Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Soundinhalt über VST Sound Dateien bereitgestellt wird. VST
Sound Dateien können Sie jederzeit auch einfach über einen Doppelklick registrieren. Zur
Vereinfachung werden automatisch alle VST Sound Dateien innerhalb eines Ordners

Update von älteren The Grand 3 (< Version 3.2.):

• Wenn sie bereits eine ältere The Grand 3 Version installiert haben brauchen Sie
Content The Grand 3 nicht herunterladen
• Laden und öffnen Sie bitte den The Grand 3 – 3.2. (oder höher)
