Accomplishment Report
on
In-Service Training
2020
On December 16, 2020, Mulawin National High School conducted the 3 rd day of the In-
Service Training through google meet. It was started at 8:00 in the morning participated by
the school faculty and facilitated by Ma’am Rizzalyn Lagustan.
The session started with a prayer. Ma’am Rizzalyn opened the activity by welcoming the
teachers. Afterwards, Ma’am Mary Joy Oliva do the recap of the topic on 2 nd day of the
INSET, Ma’am Aileen Lacaba introduced Ma’am Ana May M. Lazaro a Financial Advisor as
the guest speaker for today’s In-Service Training.
Ma’am Garcia discussed the topic “Financial Literacy”, She shared her insights about the
challenges that we are facing in financial aspects specially nowadays. She also introduced
the other speakers, Sir Mark Leandro Juanson and Sir Jason Ryan Barbosa both are
Financial Advisor too. They also discussed about financial literacy, passive income and
liabilities. The main goal of the program is to prepare ourselves for the future and to have a
financial freedom. The first part of the session was all about wealth management, financial
education and what would be our goal, is it short-term goal? Medium-term goal? Or long-
term goal? Where we can create and follow our financial plan through our goals, the
importance of having an investment, how and where do we invest and how to manage it.
The speakers also shared their experiences on being unprepared in times of need and also
of having an investment that they can use in the same manner. On second part of the
session, the participants were given a chance to ask questions during the open-forum
facilitated by Ma’am Rizzalyn and Ma’am Ana May.
Ma’am Ana May and Sir Mark also shared a Bible verse from 1 Tim 6:10 “For the love of
money is the root of all evils, and some people in their desire for it have strayed from the
faith and have pierced themselves with many pains.” and ended the session by leaving a
question on how do we want to live? Being a financial illiterate or a financial literate? Then,
Ma’am Aileen Lacaba awarded the certificate of recognition to Ma’am Lazaro, Sir Juanson,
and Sir Barbosa Truly, the new normal is never easy for us. As teachers, we should really be
prepared for our financial matters and future.
