CREATE YOUR OWN FURNITURE LINE

Now that you know a little about furniture styles, it’s time to create a line of
furniture in a style that you like. You are going to create a room of furniture of
your choice…bedroom, living room, dining room, etc. Choosing at least 3 pieces
of furniture that you learned about today, design each of those three pieces as a
matching set. Then color in the furniture and hand it in. You will be graded on
the following:
3 pieces of furniture used (15 points)
Sketch quality/pencil and eraser (10 points)
All pieces have matching details (15 points)
Name of the furniture line (5 points)
Sharing with the class (5 points)

Do 1 sketch first, then draw onto the bottom and back of this paper the three
pieces that you have designed. Also describe what materials the pieces are
made from.
