Concept
AMELUX is equipped with 6 powerful and
long-lasting CFL’s. The light is focussed on the
newborn by efficient reflectors; as a
result there is very little scattered
light. The cover of the light unit has
louvers which ensure dissipation of
heat. AMELUX is very quiet and has
low energy consumption.
Light Unit
The easily and fully adjustable light
unit incorporates a total run hour
timer which displays the total operating
hours and also has a therapy timer which
can be reset for each patient.
Applications
According to treatment and operational
requirements AMELUX can be used as follows:
Standard with 4 blue light CFL’s and 2 white light CFL’s
(operated separately)
- blue light only for effective therapy
- white light only for care and observation
- blue and white light combined: effective therapy and
pleasant mixed light for nursing staff
Optional with 6 blue light CFL’s (replacing the 2 white light CFL’s)
- for intensive treatment of neonatal hyperbilirubinaemia
Mobile Stand
The mobile stand has three antistatic casters,
two with brakes. The height is fully adjustable.
AMELUX is ideal for use with an incubator or a
warming bed.
