and students, goo evening!
After the seemingly unending and taxing school activities, after we realize that we are now
on the near end of the school year, we gathered ourselves tonight for this Substantial occasion-
the Juniors’ and Seniors’ Promenade- a moment of socialization, relaxation, and to savor the
bonding with our students.
Ladies and gentlemen, the school year is almost over, and so this is the most opportune
time I can share my insights especially to the Fourth year students who will soon be leaving the
portals of their Alma Mater. I would like to give you the gist of my speech. This concerns the
importance of this occasion and a sort of reminders for the juniors and seniors and for the faculty
members, as well.
Let me start with the seniors. Foremost, I congratulate you all for thriving the long four
arduous years of studying in high school. I know it’s never easy to be barely walking in the
mountains just to reach Tarangnan National High School. This gonna be your last socialization
in high school for you will soon face the new dimension- the college life. This is now the time to
be mature because tonight I see the real meaning of the word “metamorphosis”, and that all of
you transformed to be ladies and gentlemen at this very evening. Try to clothe yourselves with
mature personality shield with determination, perseverance, self-control, and self-direction
because these are the secrets of success. Continue studying so that in the future time you can help
your parents to, notwithstanding the adversities that you might encounter in your journey. Do not
be controlled by selfish goals and temptations for this will certainly ruin your future.
Let me turn now my attention to the juniors. As I perceive, you are getting ready for your
final step in your high school life. You are already having a good start, so continue improving
your scholastic achievements not only in academic but in terms of extracurricular activities too,
especially to the newly-elected SSG officers. We need your involvement in every school
programs and projects. What we expect from you is to be role models of our lower year students.
Always place your best foot forward!
Now, I’d like to commend the faculty and staff of Tarangnan NHS. Please accept my
unfeigned and genuine appreciation to all the good things, expertise, and talent that you share to
our students amidst certain difficulties of disciplining them. I know that you are doing the call of
your chosen profession. Continue illuminating and save the hope of our fatherland.
Final words, may this occasion serve as an avenue towards greater development of TNHS.
This is not the ending but the beginning of beautiful things. Yes, the best is yet to come. Aim
high TARANGNANs and MABUHAY!
