Design Studio VI Time Problem (60 Marks)

Problem
Students are required to design Automobile Service Center in a given site located
in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City with necessary functions and services to accommodate
well functioned services for Motor Bikes and Cars.
1. Program Requirements:
a. Servicing Area h. Managers Room
b. Lobby i. Bike/Car Washing Area
c. Engine Room j. Compressor Room
d. Customer Service Unit k. Scrap Room
e. Customer Lounge l. Spare Room
f. Staff Room m. Engine Room
g. Toilet n. Working Station etc.
*Students are flexible to add other programs in their design so as to make the design
more functional and real to improve their design.
**A Staff Quarter has to be located in master plan. (Need not to design in detail)
2. Work Requirements:
a. Site Attributes and Inferences
b. Concept and Design development (Sketches preferred)
c. Master Plan and all floor plans (if Multi-Storey) (Scale 1:100)
d. Two Site Sections (Scale 1:100)
e. 3D and Elevations
*Any drawing, sketches or details are highly encouraged to make their design work more
presentable and communicable.
**Students are flexible to use any tools/software for 2D and 3D Design and Sheets.
***The final Design shall be submitted in Single file format in pdf format with their full
name and Class Roll No. as document title.
