Mỗi ngày em hãy viết về một trong năm chủ đề dưới đây.
Em hãy viết mà đừng để ý đến lỗi ngữ pháp. Sau khi viết xong, em không phải chữa lỗi cũng không nhờ
ai chữa lỗi. Viết journal hàng ngày giúp em viết trôi chảy, mạch lạc hơn. Dần dần em sẽ yêu thích kỹ
năng viết rất quan trọng này. (Cô Nhã)

DAY 1.
You just found a treasure map, write about what you would do next. Do you decide to look for the
treasure? Who is going to help you? What supplies do you need?
I would look for the treasure. First, I would tell it to my friends and we set a plan to look for it. We
need a shovel to dig the ground, a smartphone to google what we finding, a lighter, a compass, a
map, some money and snacks. That is only if the treasure is close from us, if it is too far, I gonna give
the chance to another person.

DAY 2.
There should be no homework at school.

In my opinion, school should not have homework for students. First, students spend too much time
on studying. Students often take 9 hours a day for studying only at school, not included extra classes.
They may have no time for entertain, relax and that make their life tired and stress. Second, they may
have no time for some social skills such as communication skills or time manage skills. Having
knowledge at school without no social skills make difficult for them after time at school.

DAY 3.
If you had to eat one type of food forever, what would you choose?
If a food is a meal I had to eat everyday, I would choose Bun Bo Hue. Bun Bo Hue is my favorite food
and I love it for the first time eating.

DAY 4.
My dad is the most interesting person.
First, my dad supports everything I do. If I say there is something I want to do, my dad helps me do it
without any other worries. He encourages me and helps me do what I want to do. Second, he helps
me gain strength whenever I have a hard time. Whenever I feel bad, my dad helps me feel better by
buying me a sweet cake or food that I want to eat. Finally, my dad helps me with everything I find
difficult. From carrying heavy loads to catching bugs, he does a lot of hard work for me. For these
reasons, my dad is an interesting person to me.

DAY 5.
Some people believe that students should be given one long vacation each year. Others believe
that students should have several short vacations throughout the year.
Which viewpoint do you agree with? Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice.

Read the following model answer and learn ideas and vocabulary from it.

I think several short vacations throughout the year are better than one long vacation. Students can
concentrate on their studies better if they have more frequent breaks. Frequent breaks also make it
easier to get a fresh start when necessary. Finally, I think students can make better use of their vacation
time if it is shorter.
More frequent vacations make it easier for students to concentrate on their work. Students often get
tired near the end of a long school. Time seems to drag on during the last two months of school and nobody
gets much work done. If the school sessions were shorter, they would be over before students have a chance
to get tired. Then students could have a break, get rested, and return for the next school session with plenty
of energy to stars studying again.
With more frequent vacations, students can more easily get a fresh start when they need one.
Sometimes a school year just starts out badly for some students, and no master what they do, it's hard to
change. They have to wait for a new school year to begin so they can start again. If the school year is long, a
lot of time is wasted. With more frequent breaks, a student who is having a bad time doesn't need to wait a
whole year to be able to start anew. That opportunity will come more quickly.

If students have more frequent, shorter vacations, they can actually make better use of that vacation
time. A student may start a long vacation with plans, but those plans are soon used up. He becomes bored
and just sits around doing nothing. With shorter vacations, a student can plan an interesting trip or project or
take a job. Before he has time to get bored with those activities, it's time for school to start again. Then he has
time to make fresh, new plans before the next break comes up.

I think shorter, more frequent vacations help students make better use of both their school time and their
vacation time. It is a plan that every school should adopt.

Some students prefer one long vacation, while others prefer several short vacations. In my view, one
long vacation is better. In this case students have a chance to have a good recess and to travel
more. Furthermore, students enable to work during the one long vacation as well.

First of all, long vacation is desirable duration to have a long-term recess for concentration. After the
stress of study session every student wants to forget everything about lessons and enjoy life. So, by
having long vacation we can be away from the stress,pressure. When summer comes, I begin to
rejoice because in that period, I am not answerable for any classes and examinations which always
keep me under pressure.

Another advantage of long vacation is that it gives students a chance to be able to travel and stay in
foreign countries for a long period of time. If I go to abroad, I want to see more places, cultures,
people or nations and even historical monuments, museums and so forth. To realize these aims I
need long vacation rather than short ones. Last year we went to Turkey in summer and spent more or
less 2 months there. I went to Istanbul, Ankara, and even 5 more cities of Turkey. It was an incredible
vacation for me because I could go where I wanted and did not worry about the time. That’s why I
am not sure that being worry about the time or thinking that classes will begin and I must be back
