Direct Competitors
My main competitors would include Logitech, Thrustmaster, and Fanatec. They all
sell steering wheel, Thrustmaster and Fanatec also selling many different
accessories. Logitech only sells one kind of wheel and one shifter, making them
less of a threat, but Thrustmaster and Fanatec both sell much more, such as
shifters, handbrakes, different wheel bases, and many different steering wheels to
attach. Fanatec is more expensive, with a basic setup coming in around $800,
whereas Thrustmaster also sells cheaper stuff, as well as expensive things. Both of
them have a bigger name, and a bigger community supporting them, but many
small sim racing business have blown up in the past years, so I think I could get in
there too.
Indirect Competitors
My indirect competitors would include companies such as Scuf gaming, and Razer,
as they sell things like controllers and keyboards. They don’t sell steering wheels,
but they could take away my business by making people want to use keyboard and
mouse, or a controller. But Sim Throttle will work to make sure we can get around
these obstacles. We will provide better service, and products, and sim racing is

For small businesses, Sim Throttle probably the only one in Manitoba, but as we
are shipping are products worldwide, that doesn’t matter too much. I would say
that Thrustmaster, Fanatec, and Logitech all have about 25% each, and the rest of
