○ The third child’s name is Tommy. (I’ve heard this one many times lol.)
2. You have been asked to empty a bathtub full of water as quickly as possible.
How would you do it? Would you use a teaspoon, a teacup, or a bucket to
empty the bathtub?
3. Imagine you are driving a bus. When you start your trip, there are an old man
named John and a long-haired kid on the bus. At the first stop the old man
leaves and a businessman enters. At the next stop Frankie, a young boy,
enters with his little sister. Then three old ladies who have been shopping in
the mall get on. After a short trip the long-haired kid leaves the bus and a man
and lady enter. Paul and his dog, Blue, get on, while Frankie and his sister get
off. Finally, the bus arrives at the bus station. What is the name of the bus
driver?
○ The bus driver’s name is Tiana. It says Imagine YOU are driving the bus. (This
one took me too long to figure out hahaha.)
6. If there are 6 apples and you take away 4, how many do you have?
7. There are two coins that total 55 cents ($0.55). One of them is not a nickel.
What are the two coins?
○ I would have one coin be the half dollar ($0.50) and the other coin is a nickel
($0.05) totaling to ($0.55). It says that ONE of the coins is not a nickel so the
other coin has to be a nickel.
9. A man wearing black clothes, black shoes, and a black hat is walking down a
street. The street lamps are all off. A black car, with its headlights off, comes
speeding down the road, but screeches to a halt, just before hitting the man.
How did the driver see the man?
○ The driver was able to see the man because it was daytime and the sun was
still up.

are there?
○ I counted 6 Fs.
