ADJECTIVE.
Big, small, shot, tall, old, pretty, good, clever (common adjectives)
Red, blue, brown etc. (colours)
Peruvian, Russian, Japanese, ect. (Nationalities)
1. In English, an adjective can go AFTER the verb BE, but when it is with noun it always goes
BEFORE the noun. Example:
2. Adjectives are the same for singular and plural nouns, so you never add an “s” to an adjective.
This is different from many other languages where adjectives have to “agree” with nouns.
Example:
- Our cars are fast - They are fast cars

Examples:
. Arthur is friendly, but he is a shy person
. Laura is shy, too.
II. Read the examples bellow, and circle the adjectives in each sentence.

Read the words in list from A to F. Decide which effects are positive, and which are negative.
