Good morning Key-Yoon,

My name is Terralyne Powe, and I am the public relations specialist for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival.
I am reaching out to you in hopes that you can assist in promoting upcoming events for the festival. The
Illinois Shakespeare Festival provides its viewers with an engaging performance of Shakespeare’s
classics. This upcoming season, the festival consists of two plays, Measure for Measure and The Winter’s
Tale. Opening night for the events will start July 3, 2021 at 8 p.m. and end August 6, 2021 at 8 p.m.
Overall, each event expands the academic and artistic growth of its members and community.

I have listed a couple of examples below that display different angles that can help assist you in
producing more interview articles.

Measure for Measure: Problematic, educational, or both? Measure by Measure is a play written by
Shakespeare. However, the play discusses social justice issues told from a 21 st century perspective. While
some argue that politics should be left alone, others agree that now is time to have these hard
conversations. With Measure by Measure, the community will relay the plays message and relate it back
to issues present in today’s time.

The Winter’s Tale by William Shakespeare: Not only will parents and children be able to enjoy the
play’s commentary and banter, but they will also fill in the blanks as they go. Through the theme of
forgiveness, the audience will see two stories unfold as the play progresses. Overall, The Winter’s Tale
takes the audience on a journey by inviting viewers into a shared space of storytelling.

Illinois Shakespeare Festival Provides Support: Summer camps, summer classes, and internships – all
three create the perfect recipe for success! These tools are facilitated through hands on training,
networking, and Shakespeare’s literature. The festival provides a distinctive learning experience for the
community; it offers free and affordable resources to children and young adults.

Considering your most recent interview article on the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, I would appreciate if
you continued posting coverage on this event. For more information, you can contact me via email or
phone.

Warm Regards,
