Materials from novels/story books will be brought home for reading in their spare
time. This happened during the distribution and retrieval of modules, this chose to
allow the library access to the reading materials and to respond to its clienteles
constantly. This encourages them to get the benefit of reading, such as:
Help your child understand sounds, words, and phrases, and develop early
skills in literacy.
The effects of reading on child growth are vast because of the cognitive ability, and
several studies have highlighted the advantages. As such, teachers and parents are
in an outstanding place to ensure a crucial aspect of the everyday routine of children
is literacy. We will provide you with some more insight as to why this is so important
and provide some tips that you can use both in and out of the classroom.
Administrators and faculty members may check-out library materials following the
Circulation guidelines of the library.
Library materials may be returned without having to get inside the school premises.
A borrower may return the books by using the book drops or leaving in the guard
house located near the gate entrance. Aside from it books/storybooks borrowed
during the distribution of modules can be returned together with the modules on the
preferred scheduled of their adviser/teacher.
Distribution of Leaflets
A leaflet is made to attract clienteles and to make them interested in the library
services and provided crucial information about the library. Its designed to be visual
and straight to the point so making them easy to read is critical.
Children have an intrinsic passion for stories. Stories create beauty and a worldly
sense of wonder. Stories tell us about life, about others and about ourselves. For
students, storytelling is a fascinating way to gain an insight, admiration, and empathy
towards other cultures, and can foster a positive outlook towards people from diverse
countries, races, and faiths.
Visual storytelling provides space for students to explore subjects they are curious
about, extends their learning around assigned topics, and demonstrates their
learning outside the schoolhouse to classmates, learners, and parents of whom will
engage with the storyteller.
For professions that will eventually be machine-based, digital fluency and literacy are
important. Many students would need to be competent in the workplace with a wide
range of interfaces and programming skills to be competitive. As educators, we
should promote the use of accessible technologies in a positive manner.
Expose students to the advantages of developing and sharing their own ideas Give
them an ability to connect and make their own mark with the new world while still
using the internet in a protected environment. Students develop their investigative
skills, assess the authenticity and accuracy of documents, and learn about
copyrights and the correct attribution of sources by searching, criticizing, and
creating for different media.
The Library also uses its librarian's expertise and abilities to ensure that they are put
in the school's online teaching and learning flow by gaining additional technology-
related training and understanding their critical technical skills in this New Normal.
Nowadays, the "repurposing" of the library staff is important to be ever more able to
support the employers in this difficult situation. Attending numerous workshops and
preparation that train their teacher-librarian abilities in the school for the New
Normal.
