MS on Cam 1 convicted in a kidnap-murder
Take Super case in Idaho has pleaded
guilty to the 1997 murder of
Lose Super 10 year old Anthony
Martinez. Joseph Edward
Duncan III, from Tacoma,
Washington agreed to a plea
deal this past Tuesday in
exchange for life in prison
without parole.
As a part of the deal, Duncan
also pleaded guilty to six
circumstances, including
kidnapping, molestation and
torture. Duncan is accused of
kidnapping Anthony Martinez
as he was last seen playing
with his brother near their
home. The young boy’s body
was found two weeks later
South of Joshua Tree National
Monument in Indio,
California. Duncan was also
convicted of murdering a
couple and two children in
Idaho in 2005. He has
received three death sentences
and ten life sentences. Duncan
is due back in court April 5th.

Take Super of the former pope John Paul
II, commemorating the late
MS on Cam 2 Lose Super pontiff’s advancement in his
cause for sainthood, is to be
set on May 1 of this year. The
ceremony will be celebrated
by John Paul’s successor,
Pope Benedict XVI, in Rome,
amidst what are expected to
be hundreds of thousands of
pilgrims present. Benedict
made special efforts to
accelerate the former pope’s
cause for canonization, after
waiving the traditional five
year waiting period, and
opening John Paul’s cause just
weeks after his death in 2005.

Talk of John Paul’s cause for


beatification came after
reports, released from the
Congregation for the Causes
of Saints, confirmed the
careful and thorough
investigation of the
miraculous healing of a
French nun’s Parkinson's
disease. Sister Marie-Simon
Pierre attributed her
scientifically-inexplicable
recovery to the late pontiff,
after she and her fellow sisters
of her order had invoked John
Paul’s intercession for her
healing. Pope John Paul II.”
Only two months after John
Paul’s death was Pierre’s
disease completely
terminated. Commenting on
Ready Cam 3
her disease, Pierre says “I am
cured. It is the work of God,
through the intercession of
Pope John Paul II.”
