Step 1: Go to File > New and create a new android mobile size (1080 x 1920 pixels)
Photoshop document.

Step 2: Select the Rectangle Tool and click-&-drag while holding the Shift key to
create a rectangle. Toggle the size to set the dimension to 240 x 360 pixel. Set
the Fill to black and the Stroke to none.

Step 3: Press Ctrl + J to duplicate your black square and create a 4x5 grid. Make
sure the rectangles are evenly spaced. Going to View > Snap will give you more
control over the placement of your squares.

Step 4: Once you’re happy with your grid, highlight all the rectangles and click
on the New Group icon at the bottom of the Layers panel to group them all
together. Rename this group ‘Rectangles’

Step 5: Now, open your chosen image in Photoshop and drag it into the new
document at the top layer.

Step 6: Holding down Alt, click on the diving line between the Squares group
and your image in the layers panel. A small arrow should appear next to your
image layer, which indicates a Clipping Mask has been made.

Step 7: Open a new image of a girl and select quick selection tool, right click
and click select inverse. To further select the object, change the size of tool to
eliminate the small parts of the background.

Step 8: Open a new image and select rectangle marque tool to crop the desired
part of the picture.

Step 9: Drag the selected part of picture using move tool (V). Move, resize the
layer to the until the satisfaction is reached. Rename the layers so it can be
recognazible throught out the editing period

Step 10: Change the color of some parts of the picture. In this case, I change
the color of the ‘Girl’ layer. From normal to darken so the picture can blend
more to the background. The background opacity is change to 77% to highlight
the two subjects.

Finally, we are finished. Saved the image to your desired file type. In this case, I
selected tif for more resolution and png.
