1. Preventing epileptic attacks
Please read the manual, and this paragraph in particular, before using this video
game or permitting your children to play it. An adult should read the console
instructions for use before allowing children to play. Some people are liable to
experience epileptic attacks or black-outs when they see certain kinds of flashing
light or common objects in our everyday surroundings. These people expose
themselves to attacks when they watch certain television images or play certain
video games. These phenomena may also occur even if a person has no history
of medical problems and has never experienced an epileptic attack (seizure or
black-out) triggered by light flashes. Please consult your doctor before use. We
advise parents to watch when their children play video games. If you, or your
child, have any of the following symptoms – dizziness, altered vision, eye or
muscle twitching, loss of awareness, disorientation, involuntary movements or
convulsions – stop playing IMMEDIATELY and consult a doctor.
2. Safety Instructions
• Move as far away from the screen as possible by sitting as far away
as the PC cables will allow. We recommend sitting at least two
meters away from the screen.
• We recommend using a television with a small screen.
• Do not play if you are tired or need sleep.
• Make sure you play in a well-lit room.
• When you play a video game, take a break of at least 10 minutes every hour.

Everyone's favourite friends with a passion for fashion are back in their very own totally-
hot dress-up ‘n’ dance videogame! Do you think you have what it takes to be in a stylin’
music video? Well, if you look the part and have the right moves, you could be! Just
pick your favourite Bratz™-girl and get ready to Xpress yourself as you dress up and get
down in the coolest places, like the mall or the local disco, on your way to becoming a
sizzlin’ video-music superstar!

WINDOWS MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

• CPU Speed: Pentium® II 233MHz, AMD K6-III 400 MHz or faster
• Memory: 64MB RAM (256MB for Win XP)
• Video Card: 8 MB Direct X 8.1 compatible card
• Sound Card: Direct X 8.1 compatible
• CD-Rom Drive: 4x CD-ROM or better (Not recommended for use
with CD-RW’s)
• Direct X version: 8.1 included on disk
• Available Hard Drive Space: 400MB hard disk space available
TO INSTALL
1. Insert the Bratz disk into your CD drive and click on “Install” at the startup screen.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
2. If the startup screen does not appear, click on the Start menu and select Run.
Type D:/setup.exe (where “D:” corresponds to the letter of your CD drive) and click
“OK”. Follow the on-screen instructions.
TO PLAY
1. Insert the Bratz disk into your CD drive and click the “Play” button at the startup
screen to start the game.
2. Or, double-click the “Bratz” icon on your desktop to begin the game.
3. Or, click on the Start menu, then choose “Programs”, then “Ubi Soft”, and then
“Bratz”. Click on the “Bratz” menu icon to begin the game.
TO REMOVE
1. Click on the Start menu, then choose “Programs”, then “Ubi Soft”, and then
“Bratz”. Click the “Uninstall Bratz” menu item to remove the game. You may also
need to delete the game directory on your hard drive to completely remove all files.

Use this button to call up game help whenever Menu Navigation

you see this symbol on the menu screen.
You can view and select different preset key CONFIGURATIONS for the various
dancing actions in the OPTIONS menu. Xpress yourself by performing Basic and Stylin’
Moves! Choose the layout that feels best to you from the available selections within the
CONFIGURATION menu.
The CONFIGURATION menu shows you what keys on your keyboard should be
pressed to match the symbols shown in the game. There are keys for the four basic
arrows as well as stylin’ keys. These totally-hot Bratz-girl icons turn up the heat on the
dance floor and help you perform groovy dance steps with your Bratz-girl.
General Controls

Enter Accept a menu selection.
ESC Cancel a selection or return to a previous menu.
Space Bar Use this button the call up game help whenever you see
on the menu screen.
F12 Exit to Windows.
Pause Pause the game.
Starting the Game

Get ready to strut your stuff and flaunt your style! First, select a “New Game” to play.
Next, enter a groovalicious name for your game! As you advance in the contest mode,
your game will be automatically saved. When you start the game again, select “Continue
Game” and then the name of the game you created. Everything you’ve unlocked in your
progress will be restored!
Just type your name into the window and press Enter to confirm and you’re all set to
start dancin’!

You will then be able to select a difficulty for the game you are playing. There are 3
difficulty settings:
CASUAL STYLE Only left and right arrows are used on the Step Indicator.
If you’re playing for the first time it’s a good idea to select
this difficulty to help you get used to the game!
SEMI-CASUAL COOL The normal difficulty level. All four directional arrows are
used on the Step Indicator to really get you groovin’!
FORMAL FUNK In addition to all four directional arrows being used on the
Step Indicator, two other keys are thrown in to challenge
you. It’s harder but you get way more points!!
Casual Style gives you half the value of points that you would earn if you play Semi-
Casual Cool, but you earn twice the value of points in Formal Funk!
The Characters
Choose from any of these five funkadelic Bratz girls: Cloe, Sasha, Yasmin, Jade and
Meygan! There are 5 Bratz-girls to choose from. Play with your favourite or play with them
all! It’s up to you! As you advance in the Contest, you’ll earn more outfits for your Bratz-
girl to wear! Which will your Bratz-girl wear when she takes centre stage in the Video?
To choose a character click or press the left or right Arrow keys to cycle through them
and choose your favourite! You’ll be able to change her outfits between songs as you
like, but you’ll have to unlock them first!

Remember you can get help at any time by pressing the Space Bar Button when you
see !

Main Menu
This is the Main Menu for the game:
Practice Use this mode to get familiar with the game and to practice songs
and moves that you have unlocked!
Contest The main mode of the game! Can you dance your way through to
the Hollywood shoot? Unlock new moves, songs and special
moves in this mode. Play again with the different Bratz-girls to earn
more points and unlock all the moves!
Multiplayer Multiplayer action on the same keyboard!!
Options Here you can change the language, the difficulty setting, the
configurations for the keyboard and more.
The Game
Contest mode is the main mode of the game where you will get to dance your way to
stardom! The better you dance, the more dance steps you’ll unlock, and the better
dancer you will become!

INDICATOR
COOL-O-METER
The Steps Indicator

This indicator tells you what the moves will be! Watch it closely and try to do as it says!
Arrows radiate from the centre. When one aligns with an outer arrow press the
corresponding key! The more accurate you are, the better your score. Try to get as
many perfect moves as you can to get a higher score. The higher your score, the more
dance steps you unlock for use in the funky Freestyle sections!
The Cool-O-Meter
The Cool-O-Meter is an indication of how well you are doing. When you do PERFECT
moves the Cool-O-Meter grows! When you MISS a move the Cool-O-Meter will
decrease. If you miss too many you’ll have to restart the level, but if you dance really
well, you’ll score an extra 50,000 points!

Freestyle Sections
This is where you can really show off how well you can dance! At least once per song
there will be a Freestyle section. You will know this is coming when the Steps Indicator
shrinks. You have 10 seconds to enter as many moves as you can to get bonus points!
The Moves
There are a total of 35 dance moves in the game. Only 4 are unlocked to start off with
and it’s up to you to unlock more in the Contest. All the moves you see your Bratz-girl
doing in the game are unlockable. These are called “Basic Moves” and each Bratz-girl
comes with her very own unique move! The best moves of all are called “Stylin’ Moves”
and are awarded when you have done exceptionally well. They are hard to do but earn
you even more points when you pull them off! Doing certain combinations of the Stylin’
Moves earns you even more points. Be careful not to always do the same move
because you earn fewer points for not being creative.
Multi-Player Modes
You can play Copy Cat or Competitive Dance with a friend! In both game modes you
can play as any Bratz-girl and use any of the moves you have unlocked thus far! Two
players can play on the same keyboard!
Copy Cat
Player one goes first and performs one input and then player two copies that input and
adds an input of their own! Then player one must repeat the two inputs in the chain and
add a third and so forth. The first one to miss one in the sequence ends the game.
What’s the longest chain you and your friend can create?
Competitive Dance
You can play the Contest against a friend! Can you out dance them and be the winner?
Use any of the moves you have unlocked so far to be the best dancer around! Flaunt it!

Bitte lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung und insbesondere diesen Abschnitt, bevor

Videospiel vor. Glaubst du, du bist geeignet, in einem topmodischen Musikvideo
mitzumachen? Wenn du die richtigen Schritte erlernst, kannst du es schaffen! Greif dir
einfach dein Lieblings-Bratz-Girl, style dich auf und zeig dein Können an den coolsten Orten,
z. B. im Einkaufszentrum oder der Disco. So kannst du ein flippiger Video-Star werden.

Installation
1. Lege die Bratz-CD-ROM in dein Laufwerk ein und klicke auf “Installieren“, wenn
der Autostart-Bildschirm erscheint. Folge den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm.
2. Wenn der Autostart-Bildschirm nicht erscheint, gehe im Windows Startmenü auf
„Ausführen“, gib D:/setup.exe ein (falls “D:” der Buchstabe Ihres CD-ROM
Laufwerks ist) und klick auf “OK”. Folge den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm.
Das Spiel starten

1. Lege die Bratz CD-ROM in dein CD-ROM Laufwerk ein und klicke auf die
Schaltfläche „Spielen” des Autostart-Fensters.
2. Alternativ kannst du das Spiel mit einem Doppelklick auf das “Bratz”-Symbol auf
deinem Desktop starten.
3. Oder über das Windows Startmenü PROGRAMME/UBI SOFT/BRATZ. Klicke auf
das entsprechende Symbol, um das Spiel zu starten.
BRATZ DEINSTALLIEREN
1. Klicke auf das Windows Startmenü und dann auf PROGRAMME/UBI
SOFT/BRATZ. Mit einem Klick auf „Bratz deinstallieren“ kannst du das Spiel von
deiner Festplatte entfernen. Eventuell solltest du auch das Bratzverzeichnis auf
deiner Festplatte löschen, um alle Dateien zu entfernen.

und Stylin’ Moves! Wähle eine Bildschirmoberfläche, die dir am besten gefällt, du
findest sie im KONFIGURATIONS-Menü.
Das KONFIGURATIONS-Menü zeigt dir, welche Tasten du auf deiner Tastatur drücken
musst. Sie müssen zu den Symbolen, die im Spiel gezeigt werden, passen. Es gibt
Tasten für die vier grundlegenden Pfeile, sowie besondere Stylin’-Tasten. Die
superheißen Bratz-Girls Symbole steigern die Stimmung auf dem Danceground ins
Unermessliche und helfen dir, mit deinen Bratz-Girls obercoole Tanzschritte auszuführen.
Allgemeine Steuerung
Pfeiltasten Menüauswahl.
Eingabe Menüauswahl bestätigen.
ESC Auswahl widerrufen und zum vorherigen Menü zurückkehren.
Leertaste Benutze diese Taste, um die Spielhilfe aufzurufen. Die
Spielhilfe ist verfügbar, sobald das Symbol auf dem
Bildschirm erscheint.
F12 Zurück zu Windows.
Pause Unterbricht das Spiel.
Spiel starten
Mach dich bereit, deinen Style stolz zu präsentieren! Wähle zuerst den “Wettkampf-
Modus” aus, um zu spielen. Wenn du "Neues Spiel" auswählst, kannst du einen
groovigen Namen für dein Spiel eingeben! Wenn du im Wettkampf-Modus
vorankommst, hast du die Möglichkeit das Spiel zu speichern. Wenn du zum
Wettbewerb zurückkehrst, wählst du „Spiel fortsetzen“ aus und dann den Namen des
Spiels, das du erstellt hast. Alles was du im Laufe des Spiels frei geschaltet hast, bleibt
dann erhalten!

Gib einfach deinen Namen ein und drücke die Eingabetaste, dann kann der Tanz
losgehen!
Du kannst dann den Schwierigkeitsgrad für dein Spiel eingeben. Es gibt 3
Schwierigkeitseinstellungen im Spiel:
CASUAL STYLE Nur die Pfeiltasten links und rechts werden beim Tanzen
benutzt. Wenn du zum ersten Mal spielst, ist dieser
Schwierigkeitsgrad geeignet, dich an das Spiel zu
gewöhnen!
SEMI-CASUAL COOL Das ist der normale Schwierigkeitsgrad. Du benutzt alle
Pfeiltasten, um deinen Charakter zu bewegen.
FORMAL FUNK Du benötigst fast alle Tasten, um deinen Charakter tanzen
zu lassen. Das ist zwar schwierig, bringt aber viele Punkte!
Im Casual Style kannst du nur halb so viele Punkte erreichen wie im Schwierigkeitsgrad
Semi-Casual Cool, und im Formal Funk erhältst du noch mal doppelt so viele Punkte.
Die Charaktere
Du kannst aus fünf tollen Bratz-Girls auswählen: Cloe, Sasha, Yasmin, Jade und Meygan!
Jede davon hat vier verschiedene Outfits zur Auswahl! Spiel mit deiner Favoritin oder mit
allen gleichzeitig! Das ist dir überlassen!
Um einen Charakter und deine Lieblingskleidung auszuwählen, drückst du die

Pfeiltasten links oder rechts. Du kannst dein Outfit zwischen Songs wechseln, wenn du
magst, aber zuerst musst du sie alle frei geschaltet haben!

Du weißt ja, dass du jederzeit mit der Leertaste die Hilfefunktion aufrufen kannst, wenn
du dieses Symbol siehst! !

Folgende Unterpunkte findest du im Hauptmenü:
Training Benutze diesen Modus, um dich an das Spiel zu gewöhnen und
Songs bzw. Bewegungen einzustudieren, die du frei geschaltet hast!
Wettbewerb Der Hauptmodus des Spieles! Ob du es schaffst, durch Hollywood
zu tanzen? Schalte neue Bewegungen, Songs und
Spezialbewegungen in diesem Modus frei. Spiel noch einmal mit
den verschiedenen Bratz-Girls
Multiplayer Multiplayer-Action auf derselben Tastatur!
Optionen Hier kannst du die Sprache ändern, die Credits ansehen oder die
Highscores überprüfen!
Das Spiel
Der Wettkampf-Modus ist der Hauptmodus des Spieles, hier kannst du dir Starruhm
ertanzen. Je besser du tanzt, desto mehr Tanzschritte kannst du frei schalten und desto
besser wirst du als Tänzer!
SCHRITTANZEIGER
COOL-O-METER
Der Schrittanzeiger
Diese Anzeige sagt dir, wie die Bewegungen gehen! Achte aufmerksam darauf und
mach es genauso wie es angezeigt wird! Die Pfeile gehen vom Zentrum ab. Wenn ein
weiterer Pfeil neben dem äußeren zu sehen ist, musst du die Pfeiltaste in eben diese
Richtung drücken. Je genauer du dies tust, desto besser ist das Ergebnis. Versuche, so
viele perfekte Bewegungen zu machen wie möglich, um ein gutes Ergebnis zu erzielen.
Je höher deine Punktzahl ist, desto mehr Schritte werden freigeschaltet, die du in den
Funky Freestyle-Sektionen anwenden kannst!
Das Cool-O-Meter
Das Cool-O-Meter zeigt dir an, wie gut du tanzt. Wenn du perfekte Bewegungen
ausführst, steigt das Cool-O-Meter! Wenn du eine Bewegung vermasselst, sinkt das
Cool-O-Meter wieder. Wenn du zu viele Schritte vermasselst, musst du den Level noch
einmal von vorne beginnen, aber wenn du richtig gut tanzt, kannst du 50.000 Punkte
extra erreichen!

Freestyle-Bereiche
Hier kannst du zeigen, was du wirklich drauf hast! Zumindest einmal pro Song gibt es
einen Freestyle-Bereich. Wenn der Schrittanzeiger absinkt, weißt du, dass jetzt
Freestyle angesagt ist. Du hast 10 Sekunden Zeit, so viele Bewegungen auszuführen
wie möglich, um dir Bonuspunkte zu verdienen.
Die Bewegungen
Insgesamt gibt es in Bratz 35 Bewegungen. Nur 4 davon sind zu Beginn verfügbar, aber
du kannst im Wettbewerb viele weitere frei schalten. Du kannst alle Bewegungen frei
schalten, die dein Bratz-Girl im Spiel ausführt. Das sind dann normale Bewegungen und
jedes Bratz-Girl hat ihre eigene einzigartige Bewegung! Die besten Bewegungen
werden als „Super Struttin’ ” bezeichnet und werden ausgezeichnet, wenn du sie
außergewöhnlich gut gemacht hast. Sie sind schwer auszuführen, aber du erreichst
mehr Punkte, wenn du sie aus dem Hut zauberst! Wenn du Kombinationen aus solchen
Super Struttin’-Bewegungen hinlegst, bekommst du noch mehr Punkte. Du solltest es
auf jeden Fall vermeiden, immer dieselbe Bewegung zu machen. Denn wenn du nicht
kreativ bist, bekommst du viel weniger Punkte.
Multiplayer-Modi
Du kannst die Modi Copy Cat oder Tanzwettbwerb gegen eine Freundin spielen! In
beiden Modi kannst du als jedes beliebige Bratz-Girl spielen und alle Bewegungen
anwenden, die du bisher frei geschaltet hast. Beide Spieler benutzen dieselbe Tastatur.
Copy Cat
Spieler 1 ist zuerst am Zug und zeigt, was er kann, dann ist Spieler 2 dran, macht die
Schritte nach und setzt noch ein paar Bewegungen drauf. Dann muss Spieler 1 das
Ganze wiederholen, wieder Bewegungen hinzufügen usw. Sobald ein Spieler einen
Fehler macht, ist das Spiel zu Ende. Wie lang ist die längste Bewegungskette, die du
und dein Freund erzeugen könnt?
Tanz-Wettbewerb
In diesem Wettbewerb kannst du gegen einen Freund antreten! Kannst du deinen
Gegner beim Tanzen schlagen und Sieger werden? Benutze die Bewegungen, die du
frei geschaltet hast, damit du der beste Tänzer überhaupt wirst. Also zeig was du
kannst!

I. - Précautions à prendre dans tous les cas pour l'utilisation d'un jeu vidéo
Evitez de jouer si vous êtes fatigué ou si vous manquez de sommeil. Assurez-vous

que vous jouez dans une pièce bien éclairée en modérant la luminosité de votre
écran. Lorsque vous utilisez un jeu vidéo susceptible d'être connecté à un écran,
jouez à bonne distance de cet écran de télévision et aussi loin que le permet le
cordon de raccordement. En cours d'utilisation, faites des pauses de dix à quinze
minutes toutes les heures.
II. - Avertissement sur l'épilepsie
Certaines personnes sont susceptibles de faire des crises d'épilepsie comportant,

le cas échéant, des pertes de conscience à la vue, notamment, de certains types
de stimulations lumineuses fortes : succession rapide d'images ou répétition de
figures géométriques simples, d'éclairs ou d'explosions. Ces personnes s'exposent
à des crises lorsqu'elles jouent à certains jeux vidéo comportant de telles
stimulations, alors même qu'elles n'ont pas d'antécédent médical ou n'ont jamais
été sujettes elles-mêmes à des crises d'épilepsie. Si vous-même ou un membre de
votre famille avez déjà présenté des symptômes liés à l'épilepsie (crise ou perte de
conscience) en présence de stimulations lumineuses, consultez votre médecin
avant toute utilisation. Les parents se doivent également d'être particulièrement
attentifs à leurs enfants lorsqu'ils jouent avec des jeux vidéo. Si vous-même ou votre
enfant présentez un des symptômes suivants : vertige, trouble de la vision,
contraction des yeux ou des muscles, trouble de l'orientation, mouvement
involontaire ou convulsion, perte momentanée de conscience, il faut cesser
immédiatement de jouer et consulter un médecin.

ton look dans les endroits les plus branchés, comme le centre commercial ou la
discothèque, afin de devenir la nouvelle superstar du clip !

INSTALLATION
1. Insère le disque de Bratz dans ton lecteur de CD-Rom et clique sur « Installer »
à partir du menu de démarrage. Suis les instructions à l’écran.
2. Si l’écran de démarrage n’apparaît pas, clique sur le menu Démarrer et choisis
Exécuter. Tape D:\setup.exe (« D: » correspondant à la lettre de ton lecteur de
CD-Rom) et clique sur OK. Suis les instructions à l’écran.
JEU
1. Insère le disque de Bratz dans ton lecteur de CD-Rom et clique sur le bouton
« Jouer » depuis le menu de démarrage pour commencer une partie,
2. Ou double-clique sur l’icône « Bratz » sur ton bureau,
3. Ou clique sur le menu Démarrer, puis sur « Programmes », « Ubi Soft » et « Bratz ».
Clique sur l’icône du menu Bratz pour commencer une partie.
DESINSTALLATION
1. Clique sur le menu Démarrer, puis sur « Programmes », « Ubi Soft » et « Bratz ».
Clique sur « Désinstaller Bratz » pour supprimer le jeu. Il se peut que tu doives
également supprimer manuellement le répertoire du jeu sur ton disque dur afin de
terminer la suppression de tous les fichiers.

Tu peux visualiser et choisir à partir du menu OPTIONS différentes CONFIGURATIONS

de touches pour les mouvements de danse. Exécute des mouvements normaux et
Super Frime ! Sélectionne la configuration qui te convient le mieux parmi celles
proposées dans le menu CONFIGURATION.
Le menu CONFIGURATION te montre quelles touches du clavier tu devras utiliser pour
suivre les symboles en cours de jeu. Quatre touches sont assignées aux mouvements
de base et aux mouvements Super Frime. Lorsque tu maîtriseras les mouvements, tu
pourras devenir la reine de la piste de danse !
Commandes générales
Touches flèches Naviguer dans les menus.

Entrée Valider un choix dans les menus.
Echap Annuler un choix ou retourner au menu précédent.
Barre d’espace Utiliser ce bouton pour appeler l’aide quand le symbole
apparaît à l’écran.
F12 Retourner à Windows.
Pause Mettre le jeu en pause.
Commencer une partie

Prépare-toi à parader et à peaufiner ton style ! Tout d’abord, choisis « Nouvelle partie ».
Ensuite, entre le nom de ta partie ! Au fur et à mesure de ta progression dans le
concours, la partie sera sauvegardée automatiquement. Lorsque tu voudras
ultérieurement reprendre une partie déjà commencée, choisis « Reprendre une partie »
puis le nom de la partie que tu as créée. Tout ce que tu avais réussi à débloquer sera
alors accessible à nouveau.
Entre ton nom dans la fenêtre et appuie sur Entrée pour confirmer. Ce soir, tu seras la
plus belle pour aller danser !

Choisis ensuite le niveau de difficulté de ta partie. Il existe trois niveaux de difficulté :
STYLE DÉCONTRACTÉ Seules les flèches droite et gauche sont utilisées pour
faire danser ton personnage. Choisis ce niveau si tu
joues pour la première fois, afin de te familiariser avec le jeu.
STYLE SEMI-DÉCONTRACTÉ C’est le niveau de difficulté normal. Les quatre flèches
sont utilisées pour déplacer ton personnage.
FUNK PROFESSIONNEL En plus des quatre flèches, deux touches
supplémentaires entrent en jeu afin de tirer le meilleur
de tes capacités. C’est plus dur, mais ça rapporte plus
de points !
Le style décontracté rapporte moitié moins de points que le style semi-décontracté. Le
style funk professionnel rapporte deux fois plus de points que le style semi-décontracté.
Les personnages
Choisis l’une de ces cinq Bratz : Cloe, Sasha, Yasmin, Jade et Meygan ! Chacune d’entre
elles possède quatre tenues différentes. Joue avec ta préférée ou avec toutes, c’est toi qui
décides ! Au fur et à mesure de ta progression dans le concours, tu pourras gagner de
nouvelles tenues pour ta Bratz. Laquelle choisiras-tu pour briller sur la piste de danse ?
Pour sélectionner un personnage, appuie sur la flèche droite ou la flèche gauche afin de
les faire défiler, et choisis ta tenue favorite. Tu peux changer de tenue entre chaque
chanson, mais tu devras d’abord les débloquer !
Les menus
Aide de jeu
Souviens-toi que l’aide est disponible à tout moment. Il te suffit d’appuyer sur la barre
d’espace quand tu vois ce symbole apparaître.

Menu principal
C’est le menu principal du jeu.
Entraînement Ce mode te permettra de te familiariser avec le jeu, ses chansons
et les mouvements que tu auras débloqués.
Concours C’est le principal mode de jeu ! Sauras-tu convaincre le Tout-
Hollywood de ton talent ? Débloque de nouveaux mouvements, de
nouvelles chansons et des mouvements spéciaux. Rejoue avec
toutes les Bratz afin de remporter plus de points et de mouvements !
Multi-joueurs Cette option permet de jouer à plusieurs sur le même clavier !
Options Ici, tu peux modifier la langue du jeu, changer le niveau de difficulté
ou la configuration du clavier et bien plus encore.
Le jeu
Le mode Concours est le mode principal du jeu qui te permettra de devenir star en
dansant ! Mieux tu danseras, plus tu débloqueras de mouvements et plus tu deviendras
talentueuse !
L’INDICATEUR
DE PAS
LE COOL-O-MÈTRE
L’indicateur de pas
Cet indicateur t’indique quel mouvement tu devras exécuter. Regarde-le attentivement et
essaye de faire ce qu’il t’indique. La flèche centrale se déplace vers l'une des quatre flèches
extérieures. Lorsque les deux flèches sont parfaitement superposées, appuie sur la touche
du clavier correspondante. Plus tu seras précise et meilleur sera ton score ! Tu obtiendras
les meilleurs scores si tu réalises des mouvements parfaits. Plus ton score est élevé et plus
tu débloqueras de mouvements à utiliser dans les modes de jeu libres.
Le Cool-O-Mètre
Le Cool-O-Mètre t’indique ton degré de réussite. Lorsque tu réalises un mouvement
parfait, le Cool-O-Mètre s’agrandit, mais il diminue si tu rates un mouvement. Si tu
échoues trop souvent, tu seras obligée de recommencer le niveau. Par contre, si tu
danses vraiment bien, tu obtiendras un bonus de 50.000 points !

Style libre
C’est ici que tu peux vraiment laisser libre cours à ton imagination et montrer ta maîtrise
de la danse ! Chaque chanson comporte au moins un passage de style libre. L’indicateur
de pas diminuera pour annoncer l’approche de cette partie de la chanson. Tu disposeras

Les mouvements
Il existe un total de 35 mouvements dans le jeu. Seuls 4 d’entre eux sont accessibles en
début de partie, et il te faudra débloquer les autres en mode Concours. Tous les
mouvements que ta Bratz exécute peuvent être débloqués. Ce sont les mouvements
Normaux, et chaque Bratz possède en plus son propre mouvement spécial. Les
meilleurs mouvements sont appelés Super Frime et sont récompensés si tu les exécutes
particulièrement bien. Ils sont certes difficiles à faire, mais ils rapportent beaucoup de
points. Certaines combinaisons de mouvements Super Frime rapportent même encore
plus de points, à toi de les trouver ! Attention de ne pas faire toujours les mêmes
mouvements, car le manque de créativité ne rapporte pas beaucoup de points !
Modes multi-joueurs
Tu peux jouer à l’Imitatrice ou faire une Compétition de Danse avec une amie. Tu peux
utiliser n’importe quelle Bratz et exécuter n’importe lequel des mouvements que tu as
déjà débloqués dans les deux modes de jeu multi-joueurs proposés. Deux personnes
peuvent jouer sur le même clavier.
L’Imitatrice
La première joueuse exécute un mouvement, puis la deuxième joueuse répète ce
mouvement et en ajoute un nouveau. La première joueuse reprend alors cet
enchaînement et ajoute un nouveau mouvement. Le jeu continue ainsi jusqu'à ce que
l'une des deux joueuses se trompe ! Combien de mouvements toi et ton amie
parviendrez-vous à enchaîner ?
Compétition de danse
Participe au concours contre une amie ! Seras-tu la meilleure, seras-tu la grande
gagnante ? Utilise tous les mouvements débloqués pour prouver que tu es la meilleure !
Sois la plus belle pour aller danser !

PAR VOUS-MEME OU PAR VOTRE ENFANT
I. - Précautions à prendre dans tous les cas pour l'utilisation d'un jeu vidéo
Evitez de jouer si vous êtes fatigué ou si vous manquez de sommeil. Assurez-vous que
vous jouez dans une pièce bien éclairée en modérant la luminosité de votre écran.
Lorsque vous utilisez un jeu vidéo susceptible d'être connecté à un écran, jouez à bonne
distance de cet écran de télévision et aussi loin que le permet le cordon de raccordement.
En cours d'utilisation, faites des pauses de dix à quinze minutes toutes les heures.
II. - Avertissement sur l'épilepsie

Certaines personnes sont susceptibles de faire des crises d'épilepsie comportant, le cas
échéant, des pertes de conscience à la vue, notamment, de certains types de
stimulations lumineuses fortes : succession rapide d'images ou répétition de figures

vidéo. Si vous-même ou votre enfant présentez un des symptômes suivants : vertige,
trouble de la vision, contraction des yeux ou des muscles, trouble de l'orientation,
mouvement involontaire ou convulsion, perte momentanée de conscience, il faut cesser
immédiatement de jouer et consulter un médecin.

en dans’-videogame! Heb jij het in je om een rol te spelen in de ‘coolste’ videoclip?
Welnu, zie je er goed uit en beschik je over de juiste ‘moves’, dan is dit je kans! Kies je
favoriete Bratz™-meisje uit en laat zien wie je bent door jezelf in je lekkerste kleding te
hijsen en daarna in de hipste plekken, zoals het winkelcentrum of de plaatselijke disco,
te laten zien wat je kunt. Je bent op weg om een spetterende videoclip-superster te
worden!

INSTALLATIE
1. Doe de Bratz cd-rom in de cd-romspeler en klik op “Install” (installeren) in het
startscherm. Volg de aanwijzingen op het scherm.
2. Indien het startscherm niet verschijnt, klik je op Start in de Taakbalk en selecteer
je Uitvoeren. Typ D:/setup.exe (“D:” is de letter waarmee je cd-romstation
aangeduid wordt) en klik op “OK”. Volg de aanwijzingen op het scherm.
SPELEN
1. Om met spelen te beginnen, doe je de Bratz cd-rom in de cd-romspeler en klik je
op “Play” (spelen) in het startscherm.
2. Je kunt ook dubbelklikken op de “Bratz”-icoon op het bureaublad.
3. Een derde methode: klik op “Start” en ga via “Programma’s”, “Ubi Soft” naar
“Bratz”. Klik hier op de “Bratz”-icoon om het spel te starten.
VERWIJDEREN
1. Klik op “Start” en ga via “Programma’s” naar “Ubi Soft” en vervolgens naar “Bratz”.
Klik op “Uninstall Bratz” (Bratz verwijderen) om het spel van je computer te
verwijderen. Het kan zijn dat je de Bratz-speldirectory op je harde schijf nog
moet wissen om alle bestanden van je computer te verwijderen.

Je kunt alle CONFIGURATIES voor de presets van toetsen voor de verschillende

dansakties bekijken in het menu OPTIONS (opties). ‘Xpress yourself’ door Basic
(gewone) en Stylin’ (supergave) ‘moves’ uit te voeren! Kies de preset waar je je het
lekkerst bij voelt uit het menu CONFIGURATION (configuratie).
Het menu CONFIGURATION geeft aan welke toets op het toetsenbord je moet
indrukken als er een bepaald symbool op het scherm verschijnt. Je hebt vier toetsen
voor de vier basispijlen in het spel en een aantal toetsen waarmee je de stylin’-moves’
uitvoert. Met deze superhete Bratzgirl-icoontjes zet je de dansvloer in vuur en vlam en
kun je je Bratzmeisje alle groovy danspassen laten doen.
Algemene besturing
Pijltoetsen Menu-navigatie.
Enter Een selectie uit het menu accepteren.
ESC Een selectie uit het menu annuleren of naar een vorig menu
terugkeren.
Spatiebalk Als in het menuscherm verschijnt, kun je de spatiebalk
gebruiken om hulp in het spel te krijgen.
F12 Terug naar Windows.
Pause Het spel onderbreken.
Met spelen beginnen

Klaar? Dans als in trance en geniet van de beat! Eerst selecteer je een “New Game”
(nieuw spel). Voer nu een groovy naampje in voor je spel! Tijdens het spelen wordt het
spel automatisch opgeslagen. Kies “Continue Game” (doorgaan met spel) als je het spel
opnieuw begonnen bent en vervolgens de naam van het spel dat je aangemaakt hebt,
en alles wat je tijdens het spel hebt vrijgespeeld staat weer tot je beschikking!

Je hoeft alleen je naam in het venster te typen en op Enter te drukken om met dansen
te beginnen!
Nu kun je de moeilijkheidsgraad voor je spel instellen. Er zijn er drie:
CASUAL STYLE (gemakkelijk) Je gebruikt alleen de pijltoetsen naar links en

rechts in de danspassen-indicator. Dit is een
prettig niveau als je het spel voor het eerst
speelt en nog veel moet leren!!
SEMI-CASUAL COOL (gemiddeld) De normale moeilijkheidsgraad. Je gebruikt
alle vier pijltoetsen in de danspassen-indicator
om je personage te laten bewegen!!
FORMAL FUNK (moeilijk) Je gebruikt naast de pijltoetsen ook een aantal
extra toetsen om je personage aan het dansen
te krijgen. Het is moeilijker, maar je krijgt dan
ook veel meer punten!!
In Casual Style (gemakkelijk) krijg je de helft van het aantal punten dat je in Semi-Casual
Cool (gemiddeld) zou krijgen. In Formal Funk (moeilijk) verdien je twee keer zoveel punten!
De personages
Maak je keuze uit deze vijf fantastische Bratz-meisjes: Cloe, Sasha, Yasmin, Jade en
Meygan! Elk meisje heeft 4 verschillende sets kleding! Speel met je favoriet of speel met
allemaal! Jij mag het zeggen! Naarmate je verder komt in de wedstrijd, verdien je steeds
meer kleding voor je Bratz-meisje! Welk pakje draagt jouw Bratz-meisje als ze de hoofdrol
danst in de videoclip?
Je kiest een personage en haar favoriete kleding met de pijltoetsen naar links of rechts.
Je kunt tussen de nummers door van kleding wisselen, maar je zult de sets eerst vrij
moeten spelen!

Onthoud dat je te allen tijde hulp kunt krijgen als je de spatiebalk indrukt wanneer
in beeld is!

Hoofdmenu
Practice (oefening) Gebruik dit speltype om aan het spel te wennen en om liedjes en
‘moves’ die je hebt vrijgespeeld te oefenen!
Contest (wedstrijd) Dit is het speltype waar het allemaal om draait! Kun je je een weg
dansen naar Hollywood? In dit speltype kun je tal van nieuwe
‘moves’, liedjes en speciale ‘moves’ vrijspelen. Speel het spel
opnieuw met de andere Bratz-meisjes om nog meer punten te
verdienen en alle ‘moves’ vrij te spelen!
Multiplayer Mutiplayer-actie op één toetsenbord!
Options (opties) Hier kun je de taal, de moeilijkheidsgraad en de configuratie voor
het toetsenbord instellen!
Het spel
De Contest mode (wedstrijd-mode) is het belangrijkste speltype en biedt je de kans om
je al dansend een weg naar de top te banen. Hoe beter je danst, hoe meer danspassen
je zult vrijspelen, en hoe sneller je een superkampioen zult zijn!
DANSPASSEN-
INDICATOR
COOL-O-METER
De danspassen-indicator
Deze indicator geeft aan wat de volgende ‘move’ zal worden! Kijk er aandachtig naar en
voer de passen uit die de indicator aangeeft! Vanuit het centrum verschijnen pijlen. Als een
pijl op één lijn staat met een ster aan de buitenkant, druk je op de overeenkomstige toets
op het toetsenbord. Hoe preciezer je dit doet, hoe hoger je score. Hoe hoger je score, hoe
meer danspassen je zult vrijspelen, die je weer kunt gebruiken in funky Freestyle!
De Cool-O-Meter
De Cool-O-Meter geeft aan hoe goed je bezig bent. Als je een PERFECT (perfecte)
‘move’ uitvoert, groeit de Cool-O-Meter! Als je een MISS (misser) maakt, slinkt de Cool-
O-Meter. Als je teveel ‘moves’ mist, zul je het level opnieuw moeten beginnen, maar als
je daarentegen heel erg goed danst, krijg je een bonusscore van 50.000 punten!

Freestyle-gedeeltes
Hier kun je laten zien hoe goed je echt bent! In elk nummer zit minstens één Freestyle-
gedeelte. Je weet dat er een Freestyle-deel aan zit te komen als de danspassen-
indicator slinkt. Je hebt tien seconden om zoveel mogelijk ‘moves’ te maken en een zo
hoog mogelijke bonus te verdienen!
De ’moves’
In Bratz kun je in totaal 35 ‘moves’ uitvoeren. In het begin beschik je slechts over vier
‘moves’ en het is aan jou om er in de Contest (wedstrijd) nog meer vrij te spelen. Alle
‘moves’ die je je Bratz-meisje in het spel ziet maken kun je vrijspelen. Deze ‘moves’
heten Basic-‘moves’ en elk meisje beheerst ook nog eens haar eigen, unieke ‘moves’.
De beste ‘moves’ heten Stylin' en je krijgt een flinke beloning als je deze ‘moves’
bijzonder fraai uitvoert. Ze zijn moeilijk maar je krijgt er dan ook heel veel punten mee.
Met bepaalde combinaties Stylin'-‘moves’ verdien je nóg meer punten. Let er op dat je
niet steeds dezelfde ‘move’ uitvoert omdat je dan minder punten zult krijgen wegens
gebrek aan creativiteit.
Multiplayer-modes
Speel Copy Cat (na-apen) of een Competitive Dance (danswedstrijd) met een
vriend(in)! In beide speltypes kun je met alle Bratz-meisjes spelen en heb je beschikking
over alle ‘moves’ die je tot dan toe hebt vrijgespeeld! Je kunt met twee spelers op één
toetsenbord spelen!
Copy Cat (na-apen)
De eerste speler voert een bepaalde ‘move’ uit die speler twee vervolgens moet
kopiëren. Vervolgens voert de tweede speler een bepaalde ‘move’ uit. Nu is het aan de
eerste speler om de twee eerste ‘moves’ te kopiëren en een derde ‘move’ aan de ketting
toe te voegen, waarna speler twee weer een vierde toevoegt, enzovoorts. De eerste
speler die een ‘move’ mist, beëindigt het spel. Wat is langste ketting die jij samen met
je vriend(in) kunt maken?
Competitive Dance (danswedstrijd)
Daag een vriend(in) uit voor een wedstrijd! Wie houdt ‘t het langst vol en wordt de
winnaar? Gebruik alle ‘moves’ die je hebt vrijgespeeld om zo de beste danser te
worden! Laat zien wat je kunt!

WAARSCHUWING
Bij sommige mensen kunnen flikkerende lichten of patronen in onze dagelijkse leefwereld een epilepsieaanval of verlies
van bewustzijn uitlokken. Dit kan ook gebeuren bij het bekijken van televisiebeelden of bij het spelen van PC en
videospellen. Ook bij personen die nooit eerder epileptische aanvallen of aan epilepsie verwante verschijnselen hebben
gehad, kan dat voorkomen. Raadpleeg je arts alvorens te spelen wanneer jij, of iemand in je familie, eerder aan epilepsie
verwante symptomen (aanvallen of verlies van bewustzijn) hebt ervaren tijdens blootstelling aan flikkerende lichten.
Wanneer bij jou tijdens het spelen van een pc of videospel één van de volgende symptomen optreden: duizeligheid,
verminderd gezichtsvermogen, oog- of spiertrekkingen, verminderd bewustzijn, desoriëntatie, willekeurige
reflexbewegingen of stuipen, stop dan ONMIDDELLIJK met spelen en raadpleeg je huisarts voordat je verder speelt.

Ubi Soft biedt Technische Ondersteuning op het volgende telefoonnummer vanaf 1 januari 2003: 0900 – 2040404 (70
ecpm). Tot eind 2002 kunt u ons voor Technische Ondersteuning bereiken op 0900 – 2026766 (70 ecpm). Probeer indien
u (de “Gebruiker”) telefonisch contact met ons opneemt, het probleem waarmee u te maken heeft zo duidelijk mogelijk uit
te leggen en zorgt u ervoor dat u tenminste de volgende informatie bij de hand heeft:
- De naam en fabrikant van uw computersysteem
- Het merk en de kloksnelheid van uw processor
- Over hoeveel RAM uw computer beschikt
- De versie van Windows die u gebruikt. (Als u niet weet welke versie u gebruikt, klik dan met rechts
op ‘Deze computer’ op het bureaublad en kies ‘Eigenschappen’)
- De fabrikant en het model van uw videokaart, modem en geluidskaart
Ubi Soft garandeert de oorspronkelijke koper van het multimediaproduct dat de compact disk (CD) inbegrepen bij dit
multimediaproduct geen fouten bevat gedurende een periode van normaal gebruik van negentig (90) dagen vanaf de
aankoopdatum, of gedurende een langere garantieperiode in het geval van daarvoor van toepassing zijnde wetgeving.
U kunt het multimediaproduct omruilen op de plek van aankoop. Een andere mogelijkheid is om een defect
multimediaproduct aangetekend op te sturen naar: Technical Support, Ubi Soft Entertainment B.V., Wattbaan 16, 3439 ML
in Nieuwegein, samen met deze handleiding en uw registratiekaart, indien u deze nog niet naar ons toegestuurd hebt.
Vermeld uw volledige naam en adres (inclusief postcode) en de datum en plek van aankoop.
Wordt de disk teruggestuurd zonder aankoopbewijs, niet-aangetekend of nadat de garantieperiode is verstreken, dan zal
Ubi Soft het product laten repareren of het product vervangen op kosten van de Gebruiker. Deze garantie vervalt indien de
disk beschadigd is geraakt door verwaarlozing of misbruik, of wanneer de disk na aankoop is bewerkt.
De Gebruiker erkent nadrukkelijk dat hij of zij het multimediaproduct voor eigen risico gebruikt. Het multimediaproduct
wordt “as is” geleverd, zonder enige garantie behalve bovengenoemde. De Gebruiker is verantwoordelijk voor alle
reparatie- of vervangingskosten van het multimediaproduct.
In zoverre de wet het toestaat, wijst Ubi Soft alle garanties af die gerelateerd zijn aan de marktwaarde van het
multimediaproduct, de tevredenheid van de Gebruiker of de geschiktheid van het product voor een specifiek doel.
De Gebruiker draagt alle risico’s met betrekking tot winstderving, schade in welke vorm dan ook, dataverlies, fouten en
gederfde zakelijke kansen of andere informatie voortvloeiende uit het bezit of het gebruik van het multimediaproduct.
Bepaalde wetgeving staat de voornoemde garantiebeperking niet toe. Het is daarom mogelijk dat deze clausule niet van

De gebruiker erkent dat alle rechten die van toepassing zijn op dit multimediaproduct en zijn componenten, de handleiding
en verpakking, en tevens de rechten met betrekking tot het handelsmerk, royalty’s en copyrights, eigendom zijn van Ubi
Soft en Ubi Softs licentiehouders, en dat deze beschermd worden door Franse en/of Europese en/of Nederlandse regel-
en/of wetgeving, verdragen en internationale overeenkomsten die betrekking hebben op intellectueel eigendom. Het is

al exponerse a ciertas luces parpadeantes o dibujos luminosos en la vida diaria.
Esas personas pueden tener un ataque mientras ven imágenes o juegan con
ciertos videojuegos. Esto puede suceder incluso si la persona no tiene un historial
médico de epilepsia o nunca ha tenido ataques epilépticos. Si usted o alguien de
su familia ha tenido antes síntomas relacionados con la epilepsia (ataques o
pérdida de consciencia) al exponerse a luces parpadeantes, consulte a su médico
antes de jugar. Si usted o sus hijos experimentan algunos de los siguientes
síntomas: mareos, visión borrosa, tics nerviosos en los ojos o en los músculos,
pérdida de consciencia, desorientación, cualquier movimiento involuntario o
convulsión mientras juega con un videojuego, interrumpa INMEDIATAMENTE su uso
y consulte a su médico.
2. Precauciones:
• Juegue siempre en una habitación bien iluminada y siéntese lo más lejos

posible del monitor.
• Evite jugar si está cansado o no ha dormido mucho.

adecuado y conoces los movimientos necesarios, ¡podrías ser la persona indicada!
Elige a tu chica Bratz preferida y prepárate: podrás expresar tu personalidad a través
de la ropa mientras paseas por los sitios más chulos que imagines, como el centro
comercial o la discoteca... ¡prepárate para convertirte en una fabulosa superestrella de
vídeos musicales!

INSTALACIÓN
1. Introduce el disco Bratz en la unidad de CD-ROM. Haz clic en “Instalar” en la
ventana de inicio que aparece y sigue las instrucciones de la pantalla.
2. Si la ventana de inicio no aparece, haz clic en el menú Inicio y selecciona
Ejecutar. Teclea D:/setup.exe (“D:” corresponde a la letra de la unidad de CD-
ROM) y haz clic en “Aceptar”. Sigue las instrucciones de la pantalla.
PARA JUGAR
1. Introduce el disco Bratz en la unidad de CD-ROM y haz clic en el botón
“Reproducir” de la pantalla de inicio para empezar a jugar.
2. También puedes ejecutar el juego haciendo doble clic en el icono “Bratz” del
escritorio.
3. O bien puedes hacer clic en el menú Inicio, resaltar “Programas”, después
“Ubi Soft” y luego “Bratz”. Si haces clic en el icono del menú “Bratz”, darás inicio
al juego.
DESINSTALAR
1. Haz clic en el menú Inicio, resalta “Programas”, luego “Ubi Soft” y por último
“Bratz”. Haz clic en el icono del menú “Desinstalar Bratz” para borrar el juego.
Quizás tengas que borrar el directorio del juego del disco duro para eliminar
totalmente todos los archivos.

Puedes ver y seleccionar distintas CONFIGURACIONES de teclas preconfiguradas

para los múltiples pasos de baile en el menú OPCIONES. ¡Exprésate realizando
movimientos Normales y Supermeneos! Elige el escenario que mejor se adapte a ti de
entre las opciones disponibles que hay en el menú CONFIGURACIÓN.
El menú CONFIGURACIÓN te mostrará cuáles son las teclas del teclado
correspondientes a los símbolos que aparecen en el juego y que son las que has de
pulsar. Existen teclas para las cuatro flechas normales así como para las de
Supermeneo. Estos iconos tan guays de las chicas Bratz pondrán al rojo vivo la pista
de baile y te ayudarán a realizar unos pasos de baile chulísimos con tu chica Bratz.
Controles generales
Teclas de dirección Navegar por los menús.

Intro Aceptar una selección en un menú.
ESC Cancelar una selección o volver al menú anterior.
Barra espaciadora Utilízala para desplegar la ayuda del juego cuando veas
en la pantalla del menú.
F12 Salir a Windows.
Pausa Detener la partida.
Comenzar a jugar
¡Prepárate para lucirte y pasar tu estilazo! Para jugar, selecciona primero “Partida
nueva”. Luego, escribe un nombre superchulo para la partida. Mientras avanzas en el
modo Concurso, la partida se guardará automáticamente. Cuando vuelvas a iniciar la
partida, selecciona “Continuar partida” y el nombre de la partida que has creado.
Encontrarás disponible todo lo que hayas desbloqueado.
Sólo has de teclear tu nombre en la pantalla, luego pulsa Intro para confirmarlo y
¡prepárate para empezar a bailar!

Podrás seleccionar la dificultad de la partida que estás jugando. Existen tres niveles de
dificultad:
ESTILO INFORMAL Sólo se utilizan las flechas de dirección izquierda y

derecha del Indicador de pasos. Si es la primera vez que
juegas, es una buena idea elegir este nivel de dificultad
para hacerte con el juego.
SEMI-INFORMAL MOLÓN Es el nivel de dificultad normal. Se utilizan las cuatro
flechas de dirección del Indicador de pasos para menear
pero bien el esqueleto.
FUNK FORMAL Aparte de las cuatro flechas de dirección que se emplean
en el Indicador de pasos, aparecen dos flechas más para
poner a prueba tu habilidad. ¡Es más difícil pero también
obtienes muchos más puntos!
Con el Estilo informal obtendrás la mitad de los puntos que conseguirías si jugases en
el Estilo semi-informal molón, ¡y en el Funk formal ganarás el doble de puntos!
Los personajes
Elige cualquiera de estas impresionantes chicas Bratz: Cloe, Sasha, Yasmin, Jade y
Meygan. Hay cinco chicas Bratz entre las que podrás elegir. Juega con la que más te
guste, o con todas, ¡tú decides! Mientras vayas avanzando en el modo Concurso podrás
conseguir más ropa para tu Bratz. ¿Qué se pondrá tu Bratz cuando esté en el centro del
escenario para grabar el vídeo?
Para elegir una chica, haz clic en ella directamente o pulsa las teclas cursor izquierda y
derecha para desplazarte entre todas y elegir tu favorita. Podrás cambiar los trajes entre
canción y canción ¡pero antes tendrás que desbloquearlos!

Recuerda que puedes conseguir ayuda en cualquier momento. Sólo tienes que pulsar
la Barra espaciadora cuando veas

Menú principal
Éste es el menú principal de la partida:
Prácticas Utiliza este modo para familiarizarte con el juego y practicar las
canciones y los movimientos que has desbloqueado.
Concurso ¡El modo principal de juego! ¿Puedes abrirte paso bailando en el
mundo de las cámaras de Hollywood? En este modo puedes
desbloquear movimientos, canciones y movimientos especiales
nuevos. ¡Juega con las diferentes chicas Bratz para ganar más
puntos y desbloquear todos los movimientos!
Multijugador Elige esta opción para experimentar la acción multijugador ¡con el
mismo teclado!
Opciones Aquí podrás cambiar el idioma, los grados de dificultad, la
configuración del teclado y mucho más.
El juego
El modo Concurso es el modo principal de juego. ¡En él tendrás que abrirte paso hacia
el estrellato bailando! Cuanto mejor bailes, más pasos de baile desbloquearás ¡y mejor
bailarina serás!
INDICADOR DE
PASOS
MOLAMEDIDOR
El Indicador de pasos
Este indicador te dice cuáles son los movimientos que tendrás que realizar. ¡Fíjate bien
en él e intenta hacer lo que te indica! Las flechas salen del centro. Cuando una de ellas
se alinee con una flecha exterior, pulsa la tecla que corresponda. Cuanto más precisa
seas, más puntos obtendrás. Para conseguir más puntos, tienes que hacer
perfectamente todos los movimientos que te sea posible. ¡Cuanto más puntúes, más
pasos de baile desbloquearás para utilizarlos en el Estilo libre!
El Molamedidor
El Molamedidor te indica cómo lo estás haciendo de bien. Cuando realices movimientos
PERFECTOS, ¡el Molamedidor aumentará! Y cuando PIERDAS un movimiento, el
Molamedidor disminuirá. Si pierdes muchos, tendrás que volver a empezar en el nivel,
pero si bailas muy bien, ¡ganarás 50.000 puntos extra!

Secciones de Estilo libre

¡Aquí es donde podrás demostrar lo bien que bailas! Al menos una vez por canción
aparecerá una sección de Estilo libre. Sabrás que esta sección va a aparecer cuando
el Indicador de pasos se encoja. Entonces tendrás 10 segundos para realizar todos los
movimientos que puedas para ganar puntos de bonificación.
Los movimientos
En Bratz hay un total de 35 movimientos. Al principio hay sólo hay 4 movimientos
desbloqueados y de ti depende desbloquear más en el Concurso. Todos los
movimientos que veas hacer a tu chica Bratz en la partida se pueden desbloquear. A
estos se les llama movimientos Normales y todas las chicas Bratz tienen su movimiento
único y distintivo. Los mejores movimientos se llaman “Supermeneo” y los recibes como
premio cuando lo haces todo superbien. Son difíciles de realizar, ¡pero con ellos
ganarás un montonazo de puntos! Si realizas determinadas combinaciones de
movimientos Supermeneo, ganarás más puntos todavía. Ten cuidado de no hacer
siempre el mismo movimiento, porque si no eres creativa ganarás menos puntos.
Modos multijugador
¡En los modos Imitadora y Competición puedes jugar con una amiga! En ambos modos
de juego podrás jugar con cualquier chica Bratz y utilizar cualquier movimiento que
hayas desbloqueado hasta el momento. ¡Con el mismo teclado pueden jugar dos
personas!
Imitadora
La jugadora uno sale primero y realiza un movimiento. Luego, la jugadora dos imita ese
movimiento y añade otro. La jugadora uno tendrá que realizar los dos movimientos
encadenados y añadir un tercero y así continuamente. La primera jugadora que falle un
movimiento de la secuencia pierde. ¡A ver cuál es la cadena más larga que podéis
hacer tu amiga y tú!
Baile de competición
¡En el Concurso puedes competir contra una amiga! ¿Eres capaz de superarla bailando
y ser la ganadora? ¡Utiliza cualquiera de los movimientos que has desbloqueado hasta
ahora para ser la mejor bailarina de todas! ¡Lúcete!

GARANTÍA
Ubi Soft garantiza al comprador original del producto que el disco (CD) incluido en el producto no debe presentar ningún
defecto en un uso normal durante un periodo de noventa días (90) desde la fecha de compra que aparezca en la factura,
u otro periodo de garantía mayor proporcionado por la legislación pertinente.
La responsabilidad de Ubi Soft y su única indemnización consistirá, a elección de Ubi Soft en: el reembolso del precio
pagado o la reparación o el reemplazo del software que no cumpla con la garantía limitada Ubi Soft y sea devuelto a Ubi
Soft junto con una copia del recibo de compra.
Si nos es devuelto un disco sin una prueba de compra o bien después de que haya expirado el periodo de garantía, Ubi
Soft podrá, a su elección, reparar el producto o reemplazarlo, con un coste para el usuario. Esta garantía no es válida si
el disco ha sido dañado por negligencia, accidente o mal uso, o si ha sido modificado después de su adquisición.
El usuario reconoce expresamente que el uso del producto multimedia se realiza bajo su exclusiva responsabilidad.
El producto multimedia se suministra tal cual. El usuario asume todos los gastos de reparación y/o corrección del producto
multimedia.
Dentro de los límites impuestos por la ley, Ubi Soft rechaza cualquier garantía relacionada con el valor venal del producto
multimedia, la satisfacción del usuario o su aptitud a responder a un uso determinado.
El usuario asume todos los riesgos derivados de una pérdida de beneficios, pérdida de datos, errores, pérdida de
información comercial o cualquier otro que se derive de la posesión del producto multimedia o de su utilización.
Algunas legislaciones no permiten la limitación de garantía antes citada, por lo que es posible que ésta no sea aplicable

dedicato al ballo! Credi di avere la grinta sufficiente per partecipare a un video
musicale? Bene, se hai il look giusto e conosci le mosse adatte, potresti fare al caso
nostro! Scegli la tua Bratz preferita e preparati a dare il meglio di te stessa mentre, con
indosso abiti sgargianti, entrerai nei posti più cool, come il grande magazzino o la
discoteca locale, per diventare una superstar della video-music!

PER INSTALLARE IL GIOCO

1. Inserisci il CD di Bratz nel lettore CD-ROM e clicca su “Installa” nella schermata di
avvio. Segui le istruzioni su schermo.
2. Nel caso non compaia la schermata di avvio, clicca su Start nella barra delle
applicazioni di Windows e, quindi, su “Esegui…”. Digita D:/setup.exe (dove “D:”
corrisponde alla lettera associata al tuo lettore CD-ROM) e clicca su “OK”. Segui
le istruzioni su schermo.
PER GIOCARE A BRATZ

1. Inserisci il CD di Bratz nel lettore CD-ROM e clicca su “Gioca” nel menu di avvio.
2. Altrimenti, clicca due volte sull’icona “Bratz” presente sul desktop per cominciare a
giocare.
3. Oppure, clicca su Start nella barra delle applicazioni di Windows, quindi su
“Programmi”, “Ubi Soft” e, infine, su “Bratz”. Clicca sull’icona “Bratz” per
cominciare a giocare.
PER RIMUOVERE BRATZ

1. Clicca su Start nella barra delle applicazioni di Windows, quindi su “Programmi”,
“Ubi Soft” e, infine, su “Bratz”. Clicca su “Rimuovi Bratz” per rimuovere il
programma. In aggiunta, potresti voler eliminare del tutto la cartella all’interno della
quale è stato installato il gioco una volta completata la disinstallazione.

Puoi modificare la CONFIGURAZIONE dei diversi tasti associati alle mosse di danza
all’interno del menu OPZIONI. Dai il meglio di te eseguendo le mosse elementari o
quelle stylin’! Scegli la configurazione di tasti che ritieni più adatta al tuo stile di gioco.
Il menu di CONFIGURAZIONE mostra i tasti che devono essere premuti in
corrispondenza dei simboli mostrati nel gioco. Esistono dei tasti per le quattro direzioni
base oltre a quelli per le mosse stylin’. Queste icone a forma di Bratz ti permetteranno
di compiere delle evoluzioni incredibili e dei passi di danza assolutamente irresistibili.
Comandi generali
Tasti freccia Naviga all’interno dei menu.

Invio Conferma le opzioni selezionate.
Esc Annulla una scelta o ritorna al menu precedente.
Barra spaziatrice Usala per richiamare il menu di aiuto ogni volta che vedi
comparire l’icona sullo schermo.
F12 Ritorna a Windows.
Pausa Metti il gioco in pausa.
Iniziare una partita

Preparati a scendere in pista e a mostrare a tutti che hai stile da vendere! Per
cominciare a giocare, seleziona Nuova partita, quindi digita il nome che vuoi
assegnarle. Avanzando nella modalità Competizione la partita verrà automaticamente
salvata. Quando riprendi a giocare, seleziona Continua partita e, quindi, il nome della
partita che avevi creato precedentemente. Tutto ciò che avevi sbloccato durante i tuoi
progressi verrà ripristinato!
Inserisci il tuo nome nella finestra e premi Invio per confermare la scelta e aprire le
danze!

Ti verrà richiesto di selezionare il livello di difficoltà fra i tre disponibili:
CASUAL STYLE Per far ballare il tuo personaggio vengono impiegati solo
i tasti freccia sinistra e destra. Se è la prima volta che
giochi è consigliabile selezionare questo livello per
prendere confidenza con il gioco!
SEMI-CASUAL COOL Corrisponde al livello di difficoltà normale. Per controllare
il tuo personaggio sfrutterai tutti i tasti freccia!
FORMAL FUNK Oltre ai quattro tasti freccia di base, se ne aggiungeranno
altri due. È più difficile, ma ti permette di ottenere molti più
punti!!!
Casual Style ti assegna la metà dei punti che guadagneresti giocando al livello Semi-
Casual Cool, mentre in Formal Funk otterrai addirittura il doppio del punteggio!
I personaggi
Scegli fra una di queste cinque incredibili Bratz: Cloe, Sasha, Yasmin, Jade e Meygan!
Ognuna dispone di quattro diversi completi. Gioca con quella che preferisci o provale tutte
quante: a te la scelta! Mentre avanzi nella Competizione, potrai sbloccare dei nuovi abiti
da far indossare alle tue Bratz mentre si esibiscono al centro del palcoscenico!
Per scegliere un personaggio, premi il tasto freccia sinistra o destra, quindi seleziona il
tuo costume preferito! Potrai cambiare abito fra una canzone e l’altra, ma dovrai prima
sbloccarli tutti!

Ricordati che puoi ottenere un aiuto in qualsiasi istante premendo la barra spaziatrice
quando vedi comparire l’icona !

Queste sono le opzioni del menu principale:
Pratica Usa questa modalità per prendere confidenza con il gioco e far
pratica con le canzoni e le mosse che hai sbloccato!
Competizione La modalità di gioco principale! Riuscirai a farti strada a passi di
danza fino alla mitica Hollywood? Sblocca nuove mosse, canzoni e
mosse speciali in questa modalità. Gioca con ogni Bratz per
guadagnare più punti e sbloccare tutte le mosse!
Multigiocatore Scegli questa opzione per sfidare un amico con la stessa tastiera!
Opzioni Da qui puoi cambiare la lingua, accedere ai riconoscimenti o
visualizzare i punteggi record!
Il gioco
La modalità Competizione è quella principale nella quale dovrai farti strada ballando fino
a raggiungere la celebrità! Più ti comporterai bene e più passi sbloccherai, diventando
una ballerina sempre più brava!

PASSI
IL COOL-O-METER
L’indicatore dei passi

Questo indicatore mostra come eseguire le varie mosse! Guardalo attentamente e
cerca di riprodurre ciò che ti viene mostrato! Le frecce partono dal centro: quando una
di queste si allinea con una freccia esterna, premi il tasto corrispondente! Più sarai
precisa, maggiori punti totalizzerai. Cerca di ottenere il maggior numero di mosse
perfette possibili per conquistare un punteggio più alto. Più punti totalizzerai, più passi
potrai sbloccare per usarli nelle sezioni di freestyle!
Il Cool-O-Meter
Il Cool-O-Meter è un indicatore che giudica le tue prestazioni. Quando esegui delle
mosse perfette, il Cool-O-Meter sale! Quando sbagli una mossa, il Cool-O-Meter
scende. Se sbagli troppe mosse, dovrai ricominciare il livello daccapo, ma se balli
davvero bene totalizzerai 50.000 punti extra!

Le sezioni di freestyle
Qui è dove puoi fare sfoggio delle tue abilità di ballerina! Almeno una volta per canzone
ci sarà una sezione di freestyle: te ne accorgerai non appena l’indicatore dei passi si
rimpicciolirà. A quel punto avrai 10 secondi per eseguire il maggior numero di mosse
possibili per ottenere dei punti bonus!
Le mosse
In Bratz ci sono un totale di 35 mosse. All’inizio ne avrai a disposizione solo quattro e
dovrai sbloccare le altre nella modalità Competizione. Tutte le mosse che vedi eseguire
dalla Bratz durante il gioco sono sbloccabili: queste sono chiamate mosse normali e
ciascuna Bratz ne ha a disposizione un intero set personale e unico! Le migliori mosse
in assoluto sono le super mosse e ti verranno regalate se ti comporterai in modo
impeccabile: sono difficili da eseguire, ma sono in grado di garantirti molti più punti!
Eseguire determinate combinazioni di super mosse ti farà guadagnare ulteriori punti.
Stai attenta a non ripetere sempre la stessa mossa perché verresti penalizzata nel
punteggio per mancanza di creatività.
Modalità Multigiocatore
Puoi giocare con un’amica a Copy Cat o alla Competizione di ballo! In entrambe le
modalità potrai scegliere una Bratz qualsiasi e utilizzare tutte le mosse sbloccate fino a
quel punto! Due giocatori possono sfidarsi sulla stessa tastiera!
Copy Cat
Il giocatore uno inizia per primo ed esegue un passo. A seguire, il giocatore due deve
ripetere quel passo e aggiungerne a sua volta un altro, quindi il giocatore uno deve
eseguire i due passi della catena e aggiungerne un terzo e così via. Il primo giocatore
che sbaglierà un passo nella sequenza decreterà la fine della partita. Qual è la
sequenza più lunga che riuscirai a riprodurre con una tua amica?
Competizione di ballo
Sei pronta ad affrontare la modalità Competizione contro un’amica! Riuscirai a batterla
e a vincere? Usa qualsiasi mossa sbloccata e dimostra di essere la migliore sulla
piazza!

schermo, alla distanza massima consentita dai cavi; evitate di giocare se vi sentite
stanchi, oppure se avete dormito poco; accertatevi che la stanza in cui intendete
giocare sia ben illuminata; riposate per almeno 10 minuti dopo ogni ora di gioco. In
questo modo, rilasserete occhi, collo, braccia e dita, e potrete riprendere a giocare con
vostro pieno divertimento.
