చిలుక నొక రమణి ముద్దు లు

చిలుకను శ్రీరామయనుచు శ్రీపతి పేరుం
బిలిచిన మోక్షము నిచ్చితివ
వలరగ మిము దలఁచు జనులకరుదా కృష్ణా !
చిలుక నొక రమణి – Once upon a time, a woman had a parrot.
ముద్దు లు చిలుకను శ్రీరామయనుచు – The parrot learnt to say SRIRAMA
sweetly
శ్రీపతి పేరున్ పిలిచిన మోక్షము నిచ్చితివి – When it called your name, you gave
the parrot Salvation!
అవలరగ మిము దలఁచు జనులకరుదా కృష్ణా ! – When you took care of the
parrot so well, How well would you look after your devotees who always
think of you!!

13. అల్ల జగన్నాథుకు రే

పల్లియ క్రీడార్థ మయ్యెఁ బరమాత్మునకున్
గొల్ల సతి యా యశోదయుఁ
తల్లియునై చన్నుఁ గుడిపెఁ దనరగ కృష్ణా !
Alla Jagannaathuku rE
palliya kreeDaarthamayye, paramaatmunakun
gollasati aa yashOdayu
talliyunai channu kuDipe tanaraga Krishna!
అల్ల జగన్నాథుకు (Alla Jagannaathuku) – To the Jagannatha, Lord Vishnu;
రేపల్లియ క్రీడార్థ మయ్యె (rEpalliya kreeDaarthamayye) – Repalle town has
become a place of play for you;
బరమాత్మునకున్ గొల్ల సతి యా యశోదయు తల్లియునై చన్నుఁ గుడిపెఁ దనరగ
కృష్ణా ! – (paramaatmunakun gollasati aa yashOdayu talliyunai channu
kuDipe tanaraga Krishna!) – The wife of the herdsman, Yahoda fed you
with love, Krishna!

20. దేవేంద్రు డలుకతోడను

వావిరిగా ఱాళ్ల వాన వడిఁ గురియింపన్
గోవర్థ నగిరి యెత్తి తి
గోవుల గోపకులఁ గాచు కొరకై కృష్ణా !
Devendrudaluka tODanu
vaavirigA rALLavAna vaDi kuriyimpan
Govardhana giri yettiti
Govula GOpakula kaachu korakai Krishna!
దేవేంద్రు డలుకతోడను (Devendrudaluka tODanu) - When Indra got angry
వావిరిగా ఱాళ్ల వాన వడిఁ గురియింపన్ (vaavirigA rALLavAna vaDi kuriyimpan)
– and ordered for a heavy shower of stones and rocks
గోవర్థ నగిరి యెత్తి తి (Govardhana giri yettiti) - you raised the Govardhana hill
on the tip of your finger like an umbrella
గోవుల గోపకులఁ గాచు కొరకై కృష్ణా ! (Govula GOpakula kaachu korakai
Krishna!) – to save the cows and the cowherds, Krishna!
27. జయమును విజయున కీయవె
హయముల ములుగోల మోపి యదలించి మహా
రయమున ఱొ ప్పవె తేరును
భయమున రిపుసేన విఱిగి పాఱగ! కృష్ణా !
Jayamunu Vijayunakeeyave
Hayamula mulugOla mOpi adalinchi mahA
Rayamuna roppave tErunu
Bhayamuna ripusEna virigi pAraga! Krishna!
జయమును విజయున కీయవె (Jayamunu Vijayunakeeyave) – Bring Victory
to Vijaya i.e., Arjuna
హయముల ములుగోల మోపి యదలించి (Hayamula mulugOla mOpi) – Rein
the horses and
మహారయమున ఱొ ప్పవె తేఱును (mahA rayamuna roppave tErunu) – Steer
the Chariot with lots of speed
భయమున రిపుసేన విఱిగి పాఱగ! కృష్ణా ! (Bhayamuna ripusEna virigi pAraga)
– tear apart the enemy’s ranks with fear! Krishna!

34. కుక్షిని నఖిల జగంబులు

నిక్షేపముఁజేసి ప్రళయ నీరధి నడుమన్
రక్షక! వటపత్రముపై
దక్షతఁ బవళించినట్టి ధన్యుఁడ కృష్ణా !
Kukshinin akhila jagambulu
NikshEpamu jEsi praLaya neeradhi naDuman
RakShaka! vaTapatramu pai
dakShata pavaLinchinaTTi dhanyuDa Krishna!

కుక్షినిన్ అఖిల జగంబులు నిక్షేపము జేసి (Kukshinin akhila jagambulu

nikShEpamu jEsi) – Keeping all the worlds treasured inside your belly
ప్రళయ నీరధి నడుమన్ (praLaya neeradhi naDuman) – Upon the waters at
the time of the deluge,
రక్షక! (RakShaka!) – Savior!
వటపత్రముపై దక్షత పవళించినట్టి ధన్యుడ కృష్ణా ! (vaTapatramu pai dakShata
pavaLinchinaTTi dhanyuDa Krishna!) – You have deftly reclined on a
banyan leaf, Krishna!
