In English, you will often be asked to explain your ideas in a
paragraph. Here is a good structure to use.

P Make your point

POINT State your main
idea/argument
E Provide proof of your
EVIDENCE/EXAMPLE idea
Provide evidence to
support your point
E Explain your evidence
EXPLAIN Explain how your
evidence supports the
point

LINK Link back to the question
