Humility in Leadership

Dr Kalam was someone who lead by simplicity. Like Mahatma Gandhi, he always believed in
greatness of actions and not base them on outer appearance. He was very simple, lived a humble life
but dreamt big. He was a true leader who took responsibility for failures and shared the credit for
success with others. He added many feathers to his cap. He was Noble prize winner, President,
scientist, poet, headed Indian missile program, but still wanted to be remembered as a teacher,
which shows true leadership spirit, as only a true leader believes in empowering others teach others
to lead. He is called “People’s President” as he who served people, inspired them, and led a true
leader.
