"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the

things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines,
Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover." – Mark Twain

Hi. Reneboy's in the house. I know that you are all aware that I'm
in love with traveling. I do. It just happened that I am not capable of
doing so at the moment (hehe). So let me share my best travel so far.

It's been years since the last time I had the opportunity to travel
in Aurora. Yeah, you read it right. It's Aurora. I've been secluded in the
coastal area for decades, and it's an honor to be part of the chess team
of Dimanayat IS when I was in high school. I was so excited at that
moment and prepared for the journey of my life.

It was four o 'clock in the morning when we prepared to travel by

boat (the only means of transportation in our place). I can hear every-
body laughing, cracking jokes while waiting for the arrival of my
co-players who will try our luck in Palarong panlalawigan. So I decided to
join them and had a little chitchat with them while waiting. So the
time has come, and we traveled to Baler. I slept while we were travel-
ing.

When I woke up, I was amazed

by the stunning golden rays reflect-
ing on the shore. The waves were
kissing the seashore while most of
the residences were sitting on picnic
mats while watching the sunrise. It
was awesome. Baler is famous for
surfing, but if you are not the type
who is into extreme sports, there are
many other things to see in Baler.
We went to the Museo de
Baler. So we went inside, and I was
shocked to see what's on the
inside. I have seen the big Eagle
framed in a glass at the doorway.
It was one of the enormous birds
I've ever seen. The Museo has some historical artifacts, and I am
feeling nostalgic because of that. I love the paintings as well.

After that, we went to Dona Aurora Quezon's house that is

located in the town proper. It is now one of the tourist spots of
Baler because you can see the ancestral things of our first Presi-
dent. Old local garments, aesthetic paintings, old pictures of Baler,
old books, and the Presidential car called "Chrysler Airflow Limou-
sine" of Manuel L. Quezon can be found here.

It is truly a fantastic place

to travel because the scener-
ies in this place are worthy of
being treasured. I know I
have a lot to explore in Baler.
On my next exploration, I
hope you'll be part of my
journey.
