On the 28th day of May 2021, the first ever Virtual Benefactors’ Recognition was held in

Lipa City Colleges Facebook page with a theme, “Benefactors: Securing a More Resilient
Future Beyond Challenging Times”. This is a celebration for bringing the LCC family,
scholars, and benefactors together in this challenging moment and time of uncertainty.

Apart from the fact that the said event commenced on the 28 th day of May, the value and
concept of togetherness started a week ago by attaching a frame on every LCCian’s profile
picture in facebook which extends our overwhelming gratitude to our benefactors as well as the
institution’s partners. It was exactly 2:00 p.m. when the program began and the number of
viewers spurted in an explicable manner. The live presentation started by showcasing what the
Lipa City Colleges and LCC Silvercrest School has to offer through an advertising video. It was
then followed by a prayer and singing of the National Anthem. After that, a welcoming message
from the director for student services, marketing, scholarship, linkages and career placements,
respectable Aldwin R. Jose, was given which inspired many viewers through his words of
encouragement. He was followed by the Vice President for the Academic Affairs, Dr. Dina
Catalina C. Dayon, who delivers her sincerest gratitude to all the benefactors, recipients and
participants of the program. After which, several honorable guest speakers like the city mayor
(Hon. Eric B. Africa) and congresswoman (Hon. Vilma Santos-Recto) gave their messages
sharing common goals and aspirations in achieving quality education for all the youth. At last, it
was the President of Lipa City Colleges, Ms. Glecy B. Mojares, who gave the last message of
gratitude to all the benefactors who endlessly give their support to the students of the institution.
Finally, the much awaited benefactor awardees were given spotlight for their humongous
contributions for both the school and the recipients. In line with this, the scholars of Lipa City
Colleges were also given a chance to give their message of gratitude to all the benefactors of the
institution. The live presentation ended through a closing message from the scholarship assistant,
Ms. Mary Ann P. Magnaye, and singing of the LCC Hymn.

Having and celebrating a program like this means a lot not just only for the school and
benefactors themselves but also for all the recipients of scholarship. A small time of recognition
like that is not a waste of time for us but a time of commemoration and celebration for all the
contributions of the benefactors. No words can describe how grateful we are for their assistance
and we owe it to them that they believed in us. It is indeed that #IsangPamilyaTayo no matter
what the situation/crisis we’re into. Mabuhay Tayo!
