Lucy : Where did you go on holiday?
Andrew : I went to Beijing with my parents.

Andrew : It was wonderful. Beijing is a great city with many historical landmarks.

1. The first meeting ( 90 minutes )
a. Introduction (10 minutes)
1. The student are invited to do an activity of praying before strating the teaching
and learning activities (religius).
2. The teacher is checking the student attendance
3. The teacher gives jumble words (EWNEKDE) and asks the students to
arrange them.
4. The students watch videos about activities carried out on holidays.

Observe
On the observe activity , the teacher :
 Invite the student to makes group for discussion about the identification
recount text.
 Each group observes the recount text and discusses it to find the social
function and structure of the text.
Asking
On the asking activity, the teacher :
 The teacher gave stimulate the students to ask about the recount text being
watched.

Explore and associate, the teacher
 The teacher assign each group are also ask to underline past verbs (V2) and
expressions to ask and provide information in the recount text.
 Each group representative are ask to read the results of the group discussion.
Comunication
 The teacher provides additional explanation on the results of the discussion
delivered by each group.
 Students are given a recount text again and asked to find the social function
and structure of the text and underline past verbs (V2) and expressions to ask
and provide information on the recount text. (Individual)
Closing Activity (20 Minutes)
 The student collected the assign result.
 The student along with the teacher conclude the material that already learned

2. The second meeting ( 90 minutes )
a. Introduction (10 minutes)
1. The student are invited to do an activity of praying before strating the
teaching and learning activities (religius).

3. The teacher asks about the lessons learned at the first meeting.
4. The teacher explain about the learning objectives or basic competencies that
will be achieved, and
5. The teacher will diliver the outline from the material and the activity that will
be done by associating the material with the student life.
b. Core activity (60 Minutes)
Explore and associate
 The teacher request the student to sit again in groups according to the previous
meeting.
 Each group observes 2 different recount texts.
 Each group discusses the social function and structure of the text of the two
texts.
 Each group also compares the use of verbs and expressions asking and
providing information on the two recount texts.
Comunication
 One members of each group reads the results of the discussion (the members
chosen must be different from the first meeting).
 Other groups comment on the answers of their friends and complete.
Closing Activity (20 Minutes)
 The student along with the teacher conclude the material that already learned

3. The third meeting ( 90 minutes )

4. The teacher shows the picture and asks students to guess the activity in the
picture to direct the student to the next activity.
5. The teacher explain about the learning objectives or basic competencies that
will be achieved, and
6. The teacher will diliver the outline from the material and the activity that will
be done by associating the material with the student life.
b. Core activity (60 Minutes)
Explore and associate
 Students will sit back with their groups.
 Each of the group is given a random recount text and asked to arrange it.
 The teacher uses mind mapping techniques and asks students to write down
basic thoughts about personal experiences.
 From the main thoughts that have been obtained, students are asked to
compile a recount text by exchanging information about the personal
experiences of each student. (in pairs)
Comunication
 2 group members are asked to read the recount text composition that has been
compiled. (selected members must be different from first and second
meeting)
 Other groups comment on the answers of their friends and complete.
 The teacher checking the student’s answer and giving additions if necessary.
 Students are given several ideas of personal experience.
 Each pair presents the results of the recount text in front of the class.
Closing Activity (20 Minutes)
 Students mention what has been learned.
 The teacher asks students about material that is considered difficult.
 The teacher praises students whose performance is good and motivates
students whose performance is still lacking.
 The teacher explains the future learning plans.
 Pray together and close greetings.
