HOLY ROSARY PREPARATORY RITES

Leader: Lord Jesus, You are truly the Son of God and the Son of
man. We consecrate ourselves to you completely, our family
including our household, our country the Philippines, especially
Mindanao, including all troubled nations of the world. All our
petitions offered completely through the hands of Mother Mary. We
offer ourselves as joyful slaves of love to your Two Hearts.

Come Holy Spirit come by means of the powerful intercession of

the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Your Beloved Spouse.

ALL: Mother Mary, Lord Jesus Christ with all the Angels and Saints,
please join us in this prayer which we are offering in union with all
the prayers addressed to You. We renew, our consecration to you
and we entrust ourselves and everything we own to your
IMMACULATE HEART. We likewise entrust to you whatever merits
are earned by this prayer for you to apply and distribute. Blessed
be the Holy and undivided Trinity now and forever. Amen.

THE CREED (I Believe in God)

I believe in One God, the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and

earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus
Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before
ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,
begotten not made, consubstantial with the Father, through him all
things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down
from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin
Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under
Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on
the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into
heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come
again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will
have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken to the prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic
and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of
sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life
of the world to come. Amen.

1st Mystery: The Annunciation of the Archangel Gabriel to the
Blessed Virgin Mary-

The angel said to Mary, “You shall conceived and bear a son and
give him the name Jesus. And he will be called Son of the Most
High.”
Luke 1: 31-32

PRAYER INTENTION:

Our Lady has always speaks of the great sin in the world. A world
composed of pride and ego that it feels no longer has need for God.
She would want us to pray for humility, for submission to God’s
will. Let us offer this decade of the rosary, in reparation: for all
who revolt against God’s Will, against the call of their own
conscience. Let us pray especially for the Church, for all Bishops,
Priests, and all those in religious life that they may serve God with
the humility and imitate Mary, the “Model and Mother of the
Church”.

3rd Mystery: The Birth of Jesus in Bethlehem-

While Mary and Joseph were in Bethlehem, she gave birth to her
first born son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him
in a manger.

PRAYER INTENTION:

Let us pray for families- for guidance and grace- to imitate the Holy
Family. Let us pray for all parents and all those who care for the
young. Let us pray especially for the gift of life and all those who
cherish it. Let us pray for parents to lead their children closer to
God. Let us also pray for the unborn and in reparation for those
who rob the unborn of the gift of life.

4th Mystery: The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple-

When the day came to purify them according to the Law of Moses,
Mary and Joseph brought Jesus up to Jerusalem so that he could
be presented to the Lord.

PRAYER INTENTION:

Let us pray this decade for Mary’s intentions: That all her children
may accept their role as intercessors in preparing us to be worthy
of presentation to her Son, our Savior. Hence, let us offer our
personal intentions asking Mary’s Intercession for our submission
to God’s will.

5th Mystery:The Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple-

They came upon him in the temple sitting in the midst of the
teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. All who
heard him were amazed.
Luke 2:46-47

PRAYER INTENTION:

Let us offer this decade for: conversion of all those who wander
away from God; for those who lost their faith; for those who give
their lives to false gods of the world, money, materialism and
pleasure. Mary states, I as Mother love you all. I love you even
when you are far away from my Son. I ask you not to allow my
heart to weep tears of blood because of souls who are lost in sin.
Therefore, dear children, PRAY, PRAY. PRAY...!
