Instructions for the Conduction of On-Job/Industrial Training

Duration & credit hours:

1. Students are required to under-go for 12 weeks of On-Job/Industrial Training each year.
2. Total number of On-Job/Industrial Training weeks for the completion of B.Tech
4 years degree will be 12 x 4 =48 weeks = 1 year.
3. Total credit for On-Job/Industrial Training in B.Tech 4 years is 24 credit hours.

Organization for On-Job/Industrial Training:

4. On-Job/Industrial Training will only be considered from government or registered

Organizations.
5. The training should be done in the relevant area and department of the
Organization as per technology of the student in which he / she is pursuing degree.
6. The supervisor of the trainee must have the degree of B.Sc. Engineering or B.Tech.

Acceptance of On-Job/Industrial Training:

7. Only those certificates of On-Job/Industrial Training will be considered which will

be submitted on prescribed format.
8. Student needs to submit On-Job/Industrial Training report of at least 30 to 50 pages
duly signed and approved by the training supervisor.
9. The On-Job/Industrial Training Report should contain all information about the mode
of Training and the about the skills and learning archived during training.
10. Incomplete certificate will not be considered.
11. Certificate of On-Job/Industrial Training without On-Job/Industrial Training report will
not be considered.
