Instructions for parents for online contest
Introduction
Dear parent/guardian,

This document contains instructions so that your child may sit for SIMCC competitions from their
home. This is due to the rapidly changing situation regarding Covid-19. As such, we have decided to
allow students to sit for the tests from their home.

To ensure the integrity of the contest, parents will also be required to join a Zoom video conference
and video the students taking the test, for the whole duration of the test. This is to ensure that
students do not refer to external reference materials. Also, the students are only allowed to do their
working on a small physical whiteboard.

Parents are recommended to test the necessary equipment at least an hour before the contest as
students will not be allowed to take part if any of the required equipment is not working.

Best Regards,
SIMCC Admin
